Our official guide on how to approach tattoo aftercare. Kindly save this post for later and share with someone you think should have this ;) by @jacksparlor

Finding a good artist to execute your design is one thing but there are still a number of factors outside the studio that can affect the final appearance of your tattoo. I made a list of things to be aware of for you. Share to someone who might need this and save for later ;))

♤ Direct sun exposure: direct sunlight causes tattoo ink fade faster. If you're going out in the sun, make sure to apply sun screen on your tattoos!
♤ Swimming/soaking in water: this slows down healing process and can make ink soggy. People have unpredictable hygienic patterns. Think about that before skinny dipping in a public pool.
♤ Over applying aftercare ointment: Do not apply too little either. Just a thin layer is fine.

*bonus tips*
♤ Stretching the tattooed area: Please avoid this until your tattoo is fully healed (Yes, this includes working out).
♤ Taking antibiotics: Don't unless prescribed by a doctor. If you are already on antibiotic treatment, you should let your artist know.
♤ Lying on the tattoo: try to adjust your sleeping position for the first week or so. by @jacksparlor

I think this has to be the best job ever! 😂
Did this piece for Destiny during the weekend. She was kind of worried about her parent's reaction but with these results, they should be speechless 😏 by @jacksparlor

How do we feel about zodiac tattoos? ♈️ by @jacksparlor

Sometimes birds are used as a symbol of Freedom. They represent the flow state between the heavens and the earth. Once believed to be messengers of the gods... by @jacksparlor

Studio Vibe ✨️

Its always a vibe when Cyril and the gang come over. I put these random clips together to prove that getting a tattoo doesn't have to seem so serious and scary...

Wishful Thinking - This would make a cute shoulder piece for ladies. Send a dm if you'd like to get this or something similar done ☝🏿

Liberale de Alkebulani - For my motherland, for the weight of the skin I carry unapologetically, for those who came before me and those who will come after me, for the sanctity of my identity.
I originally intended to get this piece on my back as a symbol of the weight I carry, but after consulting my artist, we decided to go with a leg placement. Reflecting on it now, if I were a tree, my feet would be the roots connecting me to the ground. That is exactly what this piece represents. A way of grounding and reminding myself where I come from and what I must do.

Shout out to Quincy of @sunset_tats for perfectly tattooing this piece. The vibe was electric and the execution is flawless. Thank you brother 🙏🏾 by @jacksparlor
