In August @iamabouousmane called me and said he had to get back in shape and get back to the grind. For two months he stayed here in Ohio and got after it. He showed up at 283 lbs and left for Memphis two months later at 255 lbs. Day after day he got in here with little to no days off whether he shot, ran, lifted, skill work, each day had purpose. He placed a major emphasis on his nutrition and diet as well.
Abou had a great college career, capping it off with a super productive season at Oklahoma State last year. He’s now with the Memphis Hustle, the Grizzlies G-League affiliate. Couldn’t be more proud of the work he put in the last two months to get back to where he should be. by @jackstevenstraining
