The Sea Isle 10 Miler is always a beast, but this year was on another level. At least 3 of the 10 miles were through the soft sand which was not easy! Jack and Kel crushed it again. Jack was the second youngest in the field, set a new PR, and Kel placed 3rd in her age group. Couldn’t be prouder. Now that this one’s behind us, it’s time to turn the page and kick off the new soccer season on Monday. taken in Sea Isle City, New Jersey by @jackvelez10

That was about as much fun as you can pack into a week. Great weather, unforgettable memories, and even better company with family and new friends.

Just an amazing day with my people, rain and all. For a day we were French and loved every minute of it. Still in awe of the mutual love, respect and spectacle of it all. This is how competition is supposed to be. taken in Philadelphia Stadium by @jackvelez10

Dear World Cup,

I wasn’t familiar. I wasn’t ready.

This was so much more than just a game. Everyone was so freaking happy it felt like everyone’s birthday and Christmas rolled into one. The music, the chants, the food, the passion, the mutual respect… every bit of it was a 10/10 experience.

Cousin Tommy said the World Cup is the best thing we do as humans, and after last night, I think he’s right.

I have a feeling this was the first World Cup match of many more to come.

Signed,

25/26 season is a wrap! Fun game against the Red Bulls to close it out. Had fun battling with the boys all season long. We are going to be a problem next year. Only forward! @real2014boys taken in Red Bull Training Facility by @jackvelez10

Our best girl is 2 years old today! Coco Beans Velez has been the perfect exclamation point to our family. She’s the best snuggler, lives for beach days, loves disc golf, and could play fetch for hours. She is patient, kind, and loving and is everything we could have ever asked for in a best friend. Happy birthday, Coco girl! by @jackvelez10

Where else would we be on Mother’s Day but playing or watching soccer somewhere?! Happy Mother’s Day to the most kind, patient and loving mom on the planet. We love you to the moon and back!

And the boys took down the Best of Cup this weekend! Only forward!
