One last go around… taken in Chalmers Field by @jackwalter315

Well it is definitely not how I wanted my season to end, a torn ACL and meniscus is an athletes worst nightmare. A little over four weeks ago I was in practice and was blocking during our team segment, stepped left to cut back right and heard a couple pops and went down, completely non-contact. Right then and there I knew my ACL was gone, but that is just the game. I have made it farther in football than many people in my life every believed I could. The next nine months won’t be easy, hell they will probably be close to the worst of my life, but thankfully I have a loving family and great friends who will help me through this. Thank you all for your prayers, 75 will be back….. again. taken in University of Dubuque Chalmers Field by @jackwalter315

After much discussion with my family and coaches, and most importantly praying about it, I am super excited and profoundly blessed to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at the University of Dubuque.
First and foremost I thank God for the opportunity and ability to play football at the next level. Thank you to Coach Zweifel and Coach Hookstead for giving me this amazing opportunity at such a great University. I want to thank all the coaches and programs that recruited me and believed in my athletic abilities to be a part of their program. This has been a great journey and I am so grateful for it.
I have to thank my parents for being my biggest fans, always supporting me and putting me through all the work to get me to this moment. You have always believed in me even when I didn't believe in myself. I am proud to have been a Waukesha Warrior, a Junior Crusader and to be a two-time State Champion Catholic Memorial Crusader. Now I am more proud than ever to call the University of Dubuque my home and to be a Spartan for the next four years. #committed by @jackwalter315
