Sunny Saturday on the bay ☀️
Nice to have extra hands on the farm today — my Jackieboy and Stephen helped me knock out a ton of work. We got things done, soaked up some sunshine, shared good conversation, and moved the whole place forward. Grateful for days like this.#longisland #aquaculture #oysters #morichesbay #cleanwater #sustainablefarming #violetcove #oystergro @jackwicks32 taken in East Moriches, New York by @jackwicks32

So much unforgettable music has come out of Robert Redford’s movies that it was hard to choose just one for this little tribute. 🎬✨ Jackieboy and I finally landed on the theme from A River Runs Through It — his favorite Redford-directed film. 🌊

Of course, I’ll always be partial to Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid), Rhinestone Cowboy (The Electric Horseman), The Way We Were with Barbra Streisand, and all of that sweeping orchestral music from Out of Africa — masterfully composed by John Barry. 🎶 Each one is tied to such great movie memories.

Rest in peace, Robert Redford. You were loved and admired by so many. Women especially cherished that loving gaze you brought to the screen — tender, respectful, unforgettable. Beyond the movies, you stood as a defender of public lands and Indigenous rights, an activist who cared more about what was right than what looked good. a director of meaningful films that sparked conversations we needed to have.

You leave behind a true legacy: working up until the very end with impactful, beautiful storytelling an American icon — embodying so many of the ideals we hold dear.
