Our beautiful baby boy ✨Cameron Ridge Fourie Jr. ✨ He was born 1/29/2021 weighing 7.7 lbs and 20.5 inches long and is absolutely perfect. We spent 41 weeks heart to heart but you broke mine wide open when I finally saw your face. I spent years dreaming of you and wishing for you. You are so wanted and loved. Pregnancy wasn’t easy for me but I would do it 100x over without a single complaint to get to hold you longer, or watch you take your first breath. Bringing you earth side was beautiful but devastating knowing that you would no longer be right with me all the time- and even harder knowing there would be no baby cries as you came into the world. I’m so grateful to be your mom Junior. And I cherish the few daily reminders I have of that.. the pain from labor, the milk that was supposed to feed you, and the loose stretch marked skin that grew you. I’ll never understand why you didn’t get to stay with us but I will love you forever and keep you in my heart. 🖤 by @jackxkane
October has always been my favorite month, this one was full of a lot of heartbreak and loss. But I want to remember the bits of beauty that shone through. All the Halloween festivities, celebrating 7 years engaged 🫶🏼 loving on my friends, and hangin with the coolest 4 year old ever. 🎃👻🖤 by @jackxkane
Sam. Sami Ray. My girl. 💔 I don’t know how to write this. You were a force. You lit up every room, and your energy was contagious. You loved hard. Way harder than most. Our relationship was far from perfect but damn was it fun. From middle school to cheering side by side and then crazy kids living together… you taught me to LIVE. You taught me fun and fearlessness. Then came bachelorette parties and baby showers; standing beside you as you got married.. we really did it all. Together. I am honored. Sami, you are charming and charismatic, one of the funniest people I’ve known, you’d hit me with the craziest zinger and then kiss me big right on the cheek. together we were competitive and stubborn, and we ebbed & flowed. But we always came back. There was so much love. 🫶🏼 We have had a truly beautiful friendship, and I feel so proud and blessed to have been lucky enough to experience the last 22 years with you. It’s something I’ll always cherish, it’s once in a lifetime, and I’m going to miss it every day. I’m always going to love you, and miss you. Rest easy beautiful. by @jackxkane
