POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I used to think taking care of myself meant taking time away from my kiddos.

Now I totally see it differently.

Sometimes they’re right beside me lifting, laughing, encouraging me between sets … but they’re also watching.

They’re watching their mom make her health a priority.
They’re learning that movement isn’t punishment.
That getting stronger is something we GET to do.
That caring for your body matters.

Every workout is also me investing in the version of myself I want them to have years from now.

The mom who has the energy to keep showing up.
The mom who can sit through the tournaments, chase the grandkids someday, travel, carry the bags, jump in the pool and LIVE the life happening around her.

That’s a huge part of why I do what I do.

Honestly, it’s exactly why I help other busy moms build a framework for their health that actually fits inside their real life. 🙌🏻 by @jaclynbolin

After 4 stomach surgeries and a C-section, I honestly didn’t know if having a strong core was possible for me again.

Ovarian cyst removal.
Endometriosis surgery.
Gallbladder removal.
A C-section.

My stomach had been through a lot, and for a long time I thought maybe this was just my body now.

But this is the exact type of plan that helped me burn belly fat, go from a size 12 to a size 2, rebuild strength in my core, and feel confident in summer clothes again.

Not endless cardio.
Not starving myself.
Not random workouts.

A real strategy.

Strength training.
Macro cycling.
Protein-forward meals.
Core-focused finishers.
Accountability.
Consistency that actually fit my life.

That’s why I coach my **14 Day Belly Blast**.

It’s for the woman who feels bloated, stuck, uncomfortable, or like her belly will never change again.

Especially if you’ve dealt with hormone struggles, PCOS, endometriosis, a C-section, or you just feel like your body isn’t responding the way it used to.

Your core can get stronger.
Your confidence can come back.
Your body is not broken.

Comment **BLAST** and I’ll send you the details. by @jaclynbolin

I’ve had a lot of new faces here lately, so I wanted to reintroduce myself. 😘

I’m Jaclyn — a health + hormone coach, wife, mom, sports mom, and someone who knows what it feels like to be completely exhausted while still trying to show up for everyone else.

For years, I struggled with PCOS, endometriosis, infertility, digestive issues, inflammation, hormone chaos, and feeling like my body was working against me.

I thought I just needed more discipline.

What I actually needed was a strategy that fit my real life.

Not extreme dieting.
Not hours in the gym.
Not pretending my schedule wasn’t full.

I needed simple nutrition, strength training, macro education, blood sugar support, and someone to remind me that progress did not have to be perfect to work.

Now, I help busy everyday moms — especially the ones living at ball fields, in car lines, and between practices — lose stubborn weight, build muscle, support their hormones, and finally feel like themselves again.

Around here you’ll find:
simple meals, real mom life, sports mom chaos, faith, hormone support, strength training, sustainable fat loss, and a whole lot of “you can do this even in a busy season.”

I’m so glad you’re here. 🤍

Tell me …are you more in your ⚾️sports mom season⚽️, 🪁little kid chaos season🧸, or 🙋🏼‍♀️trying to find yourself again season🤔? by @jaclynbolin

I thought I was changing my health. I didn’t realize I was changing what my kids were learning about theirs. 🥹

When I started, I just wanted to feel better. More energy. Less exhaustion. A body that could keep up with the life I was living.

Somewhere along the way, my kids started paying attention.

They saw me eating MORE to fuel my body, not less to shrink it.

They saw me picking up weights, getting stronger, and making time to move.

BeforeI knew it, they were asking questions, joining workouts, packing foods that helped fuel their activities, and understanding WHY we eat the way we do.

Not because I put them on a health journey.

Because I invited them into mine without even realizing it.

And here’s what I hope other moms take away from this...

You don’t have to have it all figured out to start setting an example

Your kids don’t need a mom who’s perfect with her nutrition or never misses a workout.

They need to see what it looks like to take care of yourself, to learn, to grow, and to keep showing up.

I started this journey for me, but watching those habits become part of our family might just be my favorite transformation yet.

If you’re a mom who wants to feel better in her body AND build healthier habits for her family, I want you to know you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

That’s exactly why I love what I get to do as a health and hormone coach. I help busy moms learn how to fuel their bodies, build strength, and create habits that actually fit their lives.

If that’s something you’ve been wanting for yourself, comment START or send me a message. I’d love to help you figure out what that first step could look like for you. by @jaclynbolin

The popcorn isn’t the problem. 🍿😂

It’s the fact that I wasn’t even hungry until my kids started popping it… and suddenly I’m three handfuls deep. Anyone else?!

Here’s what I want you to know, mama.

You don’t have to give up family snack nights to reach your health goals.

But HOW you snack can make a difference!

Popcorn is mostly carbohydrates, and eating it by itself may leave you less satisfied and reaching for more.

A simple swap? Portion out your popcorn and pair it with a little protein or healthy fat to make it more satisfying.

Ie: Popcorn + a handful of almonds

Building healthier habits isn’t about taking away the moments you love with your family. It’s about learning how to make those moments work WITH your goals. ❤️ by @jaclynbolin

She asked for chocolate for breakfast… so I said yes.
Not because I don’t care what she eats.
Actually, it’s the opposite.
I want my kids to learn that food doesn’t have to fall into two categories: “healthy” or “bad.”

So instead of saying, “No, you can’t have chocolate,” we made a chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie and talked about how we could build what she wanted in a way that would also help her body feel good.

Protein. Carbs. Fat. Foods she enjoys.
That’s the lesson I want her to carry with her.
Not, “I shouldn’t eat that.”
But, “How can I build this so it tastes good AND gives my body what it needs?”

I’m not trying to raise kids who are afraid of sweets.
I’m trying to raise kids who understand food well enough to make choices without fear, guilt or a list of foods they think they’re “not allowed” to eat.

The goal isn’t perfect eating.
It’s giving them the tools to take care of themselves long after I’m not the one making breakfast anymore.

Especially with active kids, I want mine understanding WHY they eat.

Protein helps their bodies repair and get stronger.
Carbs provide energy for practices, games and busy school days.
Hydration matters before they are already thirsty.
Food can affect how they feel, focus and perform.
I don’t want them dividing food into “good” and “bad.”

I want them learning to ask:
What does my body need right now?
I would rather teach them how food supports their bodies now than have them spend adulthood unlearning fear around food like so many of us did.

Healthy family dinners do not require making separate meals for Mom.

That used to be one of the biggest reasons my client’s said “getting healthy” felt exhausting.

Who has time to make the family dinner… and then turn around and make some sad little “diet meal” for yourself?
Not me.
What I’ve learned is that we can build one balanced family meal and adjust the portions or components based on the person eating it.
Same dinner. Different needs.
I may need a certain amount of protein, carbs and fat for my goals.

My active teenager may need more carbs to fuel sports.
My daughter may want the same foods in different portions.
Nobody has to eat exactly the same plate for the meal to work for everyone.

This is what I mean when I talk about making health a lifestyle.
I’m not trying to eat differently from my family.
I’m trying to make whole foods, protein, balanced meals and taking care of our bodies feel normal in our home.

Sustainable health should make family life easier, not give Mom one more job.

Healthy family habits start long before our kids ever care about nutrition or workouts.

I spent years thinking my health journey was about changing MY body.

What I didn’t realize was how much my kids were watching.
They see me prioritize protein.
They see me lift weights.
They see me eat carbs.
They see me enjoy dessert without guilt.
They see me walk, drink water and take care of myself.

I’m not trying to raise kids obsessed with “being healthy.”
I want to raise kids who understand their bodies deserve to be fueled, strengthened and cared for.

That is the generational change I care about.

Family nutrition isn’t just about what we feed our kids today. It’s about the relationship with food they carry into adulthood.

There are so many things I had to unlearn as an adult.
That carbs were something to fear.
That exercise was how you “made up” for what you ate.
That eating less automatically meant healthier.
That certain foods made you “good” or “bad.”

I don’t want my kids growing up with that noise.

I want them to understand that food has a purpose.
Carbs can give them energy for school, practice and games.
Protein helps their bodies grow, repair and get stronger.
Water affects how they feel and perform.
Some foods give their bodies more nutrition than others, but enjoying a cookie or pizza doesn’t mean they did anything wrong.

Most of all, I want them to learn that taking care of their bodies is something they get to do, not something they do because they dislike them.

I’m not trying to raise kids who obsess over being “healthy.”
I’m trying to raise kids who understand how to fuel themselves, enjoy food, move their bodies and value being strong.

I had to learn so much of this later in life.
My hope is they grow up already knowing it.

Strong Starts at Home.

Save this if you’re trying to create a healthier relationship with food in your home, and follow along for realistic family nutrition, strength and healthy habits that actually fit busy family life. by @jaclynbolin

THIS. This is one of the reasons I said YES to myself. 🥹

I wanted to be able to hold her longer. Carry her as she got bigger. Run, play, explore, and do all the fun things WITH her instead of watching from the sidelines.

I don’t take little moments like this for granted.

I remember when I didn’t have the strength or energy I have today.

Mama, if you’re watching this thinking, “I wish I could do that,” please don’t let that be where the thought ends.

You don’t have to be able to do it today.

You just have to be willing to start taking steps toward the version of yourself who CAN.

A walk. A strength workout. Choosing to fuel your body. One small decision at a time.

I didn’t get here overnight. I certainly didn’t start here.

It all started with one decision to say YES to myself.

I’m so thankful I did because these are the moments I never want to miss. 🤍🍎 by @jaclynbolin
