Even better news: "Operation Wedding Cats" raised $75 for @annexcatrescue today! 😻

Thanks again for all the support! If you got a copy of one or both of my books today, I hope you enjoy it, and fall as much in love with the characters (human and feline!) as I am. 🤗 by @jaclynqwrites

Day 2 of Word on the Street with Toronto Romance Writers! Thanks to everyone who dropped by!

To all those who took the time to let me know how much it means to you to see Filipino and/or plus-size rep in romance - thank you! It's a core part of why I write what I do, and it means so much to hear that it matters to someone. ❤️🤗🇵🇭

Also, thanks to all who bought books, picked up bookmarks, and expressed support for our authors at TRW! It means a lot to me as an author and a TRW member to see so many people excited about romance and reading. 💗

To those who picked up copies of my books: thank you thank you thank you! LADY KIDLAT is also available at @torontolibrary in both ebook and paperback, so if you weren't able to pick up a copy ar WOTS, maybe borrow a copy for your TBR? 🙏😜

"Operation Wedding Cats" raised $15 more for @annexcatrescue today, which brings the full weekend's total donation to $90! On behalf of Scout and Bella from LADY KIDLAT and my own cat lady heart - thank you. ❤️😻

Special shoutout to @wongtwothree for this purr-fectly adorable cover art! 😻 by @jaclynqwrites

Excited to announce "Operation Wedding Cats," a new short story in the Lady Kidlat universe! Now available as a stand-alone ebook and paperback.

It's Kat and Jake's wedding, and Gabi Pangilinan is determined to make their day extra special. She just needs to get their beloved cats to the venue without them knowing...

PLUS: Coming to Word on the Street Toronto? Drop by the Toronto Romance Writers booth (WB3) on Sat, Sept 26, from 1-3 pm. "Operation Wedding Cats" will be available for only $5, and 100% of sales will be donated to Annex Cat Rescue.

I haven't done a book x makeup look in a while, but I couldn't resist the gorgeous pink and gold cover of A COURT OF SPLINTERED HARMONY (ACOTAR 6).

Sorry Not Sorry shirt is from @sixthemusical @mirvishproductions, worn in honour of Nesta Archeron, who had every right to rock this motto throughout the entirety of ACOSH. (IYKYK 😆💪🙌)

🎨💖
👁 @morphebrushes Forbidden Honey - subtle enough that I had to take an indoor pic to make it seen in my photo. I couldn't resist the molten gold pink shade, and, as much as she frustrated me in ACOSH, I still think this palette perfectly suits Elain's soft prettiness.
🌸 @sunniesface liquid blush, shade Cherub
✨️ @onesize Wicked highlighter
💋 @kosas lipstick, shade High Cut, and @happyskin_ph lip jelly, shade Pink Lemonade by @jaclynqwrites

Eek! It's an empty page! 👻

Happy Halloween, writer friends! 😆🎃👻 by @jaclynqwrites

Halfway through ACOTAR 6: A COURT OF SPLINTERED HARMONY, and I'm really loving it so far! ✨️💖✨️

Anyone else ever take time off from work just to read? Whether it's the new ACOTAR book or some other story you couldn't wait to dive into, I think it's such a wonderful way to spend a vacation day. 😊📚

Happy reading, and hello to all of you also hanging out in Prythian with me! 👋 by @jaclynqwrites

Got to wear my Velaris dress and tote! Both by @kay_pop_art

Oracle reading 🔮🌊🪞

Made myself a fiery phoenix mask 🔥

Shadowsinger Iced Latte

Probably not the smartest drink for a midnight event, but how can I resist a Shadowsinger? 😉

Wicker movie and sweet treats to fuel a writing session ✍️

Olivia Colman & Alexander Skarsgard are 🔥💗🙌

Wicker Husband is 🥰

And Fisher Woman is flawed, real, and beautifully human 💖

Loved the film, and found it much sweeter and more emotional than I expected. 😊 by @jaclynqwrites

SLEUTH was such a fun play! I was expecting a pretty straightforward mystery, but this turned out to be much funnier than I expected.

And the performances were great! I highly recommend coming in completely cold like my sister and I did, to get the full effect.

Thanks for coming to @harbourfrontcentre, @shawfestival! 🎭 So nice to have this in the city. 😊 by @jaclynqwrites

Decadent night in with tea, cookies, and a good book. ☺️

📚 special edition of NORTHANGER ABBEY to celebrate 250 years since Austen's birth. A gift from my sister from when she visited Bath. (And yes, she deliberately chose this title for the Bath setting. 😊)

🍪 isn't the box gorgeous? It's a tin of cookies from the Tokyo National Museum gift shop, gifted to me by a work colleague. The design is based on a writing box from the museum's collection: National Treasure "Writing Box with Yatsuhashi (bridge of eight planks) Motif in Mother-of-Pearl Inlay" by Ogata Korin, Edo period, 18th century.

After I finish the cookies (which won't take long! 😋), I love the idea of reusing the box for my writing. I just don't think my pens will fit... 🤔 by @jaclynqwrites

Um, okay, how cute and how Toronto is this book cover and raccoon cookie at tonight's book launch of Jacquelyn Middleton's 90s Toronto romance LOVE WANTS US TO WIN?! I learned of this book on social media, and couldn't resist the 90s nostalgia and gorgeous sprayed edges special edition.

So great to meet you tonight, @jaxmiddleton_author! I'm excited to start reading! 😊🦝🏒🍁

So much fun swag! The art print is adorable, the pencil is so on point, and I'm super excited to look through all the themed stickers! 🦝🏒🍁

Raccoon plushie and Timbit plushie to celebrate the launch. Also raccoon cookies and hockey jersey cookies.

A better photo of the incredible sprayed edge artwork! 🦝 by @jaclynqwrites
