Today we said goodbye to our beloved Alli girl. She was the best dog. She came into our lives 18 years ago and expanded our hearts and prepared us for parenthood. She was protective of me when I was pregnant and patient with baby Jacob and his grabby little hands. She loved catching rats, putting her head out the car window, swims at the beach, getting on the toad at a party, and under your feet in the kitchen. Our family is changed forever. Good night, puppy dog xoxo 🐶 by @jacob.kellij
