I was asked to edit this one, and I couldn’t be more proud to share it with you today. Two U15 teams playing their cup final, a half-time surprise of 1000 fans appearing out of nowhere, and Mario Götze waiting for them in a conference room to give them a pep talk before the second half. The kids had no idea what was coming. These kids will carry this day with them for the rest of their lives. Thanks to @matthias_freier and @moritz_merkel for having me on this one. You know the weird shit kids throw around every day on the way to kindergarten, when they are long supposed to be asleep, waking you up on Sundays. Unfiltered thoughts, wild theories, pure nonsense just to get your attention. Not scripted, just pure unfiltered thinking. This is what this film is, a reflection of a 6 year old’s thoughts crossing his mind and getting on my nerves, but with great potential to be something. Ideas that bypass adult logic, but are logical in their own way. Today I proudly share the result. Based on a conversation with my youngest son, I recorded “Amber Logic”. Happy to share this beautiful piece of film I had the honor to cut last year. Roughstock is about intention as much as legacy. A heroine who finds her voice not through grand declarations, but through daydream and persistence, shaped by the tension between the concrete streets that raised her and the open country still echoing at its edges.
