I never thought it would come to an end. Basketball has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Felt like yesterday I laced them up for the first time back in kiddie ball. My best memories in life come from this sport, the joy this game has brought, and even the pain and tears that come with it, I wouldn’t have traded it for the world. Through all the emotions, basketball has taught me so much. It taught me how to fight through adversity, how to stay calm in pressure filled environments, and how to work together for one ultimate goal. My career didn’t end how I would’ve wanted, and fighting through injuries definitely was never on my bingo card, but ultimately I don’t think I could’ve asked for a better career.

I want to thank all of my coaches and teammates I’ve played with throughout my whole career, I’ve met some people that have changed my life through basketball and I can never be thankful enough for those it put in my path. Most importantly I want to thank my family, for coming to my games and always being there to support me and help me with decisions I’ve come to in my career.

For the last time, Go Force!
