Here's the thing nobody talks about with "ammonia free" gloss 🤍

Shades EQ technically skips ammonia. But what they swapped it for is ethanolamine, a chemical that's been shown to irritate the skin and lungs with repeated exposure, and published research actually found it causes more hair damage and more hair loss than ammonia itself. It also contains resorcinol, which is flagged as an endocrine disruptor. So you traded one problem for two quieter ones, and you're breathing it in behind the chair all day every day.
