To honor @master_horloger -a group of collectors and designers assembled by @garbsol -Spent over a year of research and development prototyping in 18k solid rose gold with hopes to put forth a gift worthy of the person receiving it. I would like to thank @lafabriquedutemps @louisvuitton independent creative semi finalist @masa1963_nakajima @pastime_masa_ @nayutashinohara for inspiring me everyday. I find so much intentionality and peaceful cohesiveness in his studio’s work. I am a friend and supporter and I am also so proud to be personally gifting Masa San my very first work of vitreous enamel champleve in rose gold and platinum executed by me. The enamel firing process is extremely difficult and this was my forth attempt -which would have been a rejection at the house of @officialfaberge but it is one of my first several attempts before I spent the time to master this proces. It is serial number 0005 in the @earlycatalog taken in Dublin, Ohio by @jacobdavidearly

Urban Jürgensen Was a Danish watchmaker commissioned to build chronometers for the shipping industry. His son continued production of the teams work under the name Jules Jürgensen and they were of exceptional quality until the 50’s and have now been relaunched by another amazing team effort by visionaries and @karivoutilainen @voutilainen_cattin here, you can see a wristwatch size compared to a pocket watch size and see the legendary double solid gold jewel caps and massive crown and regulator. These pocket watches strike me as so charming in that they were not instruments used for war but rather commerce and the finishing on certain hidden components is perfect whereas other critical components (like the mainplate surface) are left completely raw. This is such a broad range of surface finishing techniques that it creates dimensionality like the visual atmospheric layering techniques invented by #davinci -I personally would have liked to see more raw texturing in the new relaunch but they did a great job and I would love to own one 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥#independentwatchmaking #kari #voutilainenwatches #urbanjurgensen by @jacobdavidearly

Three of the best hand-engraving masters to ever do it @engraverkei @arturakmaev_watches @reinis.stripnieks -all had the same vice on their benches -personally made by @lindsayengraving and thanks to Reinis - I was allowed to purchase one of Steve’s last remaining works. I set one of the rarest color diamonds to ever be unearthed -but my 19 year old self isn’t impressed. I want to set diamonds in front of @badgalriri I want to style with #quentintarantino I want to have a piece in the permanent collection @smithsonian I want to be personally called when #cleopatra (s) tomb is discovered and her Pharos headdress needs restored. I want to set a diamond to my own standards for @harrywinston and I want @tiffanyandco consult me for creative direction. I want to celebrate the couple @willdurbin and @sarahalloto_ who recently got engaged with one of my #handmade works!!! Thank you for becoming dear friends through the process and for your patronage and support. This ring was custom designed around an elongated 2.02ct emerald-cut diamond -personally selected by Will. The casting was designed to continue /accentuate the facets of the Emerald diamond and reinforce its shape in solid 18k yellow gold. It was casted in the #unitedstates and hand-set and finished by me inside the @madisonandelm studio.
