You don’t have to think alone. 💛

I had a special experience last Sunday, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling anxious with a bunch of racing thoughts. But what was peculiar is a I felt a peace in my heart and a strength in my mind. I felt like I wasn’t thinking alone. I knew that God was thinking with me.

My prayers used to be TO God, but now I feel like they are WITH God. I know he genuinely loves me and you, in a measure that we cannot comprehend. And he wants us to succeed as much as we do… actually even more💕

Prayers don’t have to always be formal and structured. They can look like dancing, working out, cooking. God always wants to be with us. Some of my favorite prayers are ones not where were not even talking together but we are sitting in gratitude together.

I’m not perfect at praying but it’s something I’m actively working on getting better at.

Got to run in a cow field at sunset🐄☀️with @janalynfinnie. It truly felt like God was embracing us with his orange love.

Share this with someone that you think needs a reminder that they are loved by God 💛

This sunset was simple at first but at the end it burst into the sky with tiger stripes of orange light.🐅☀️

Follow to see every sunset this August:)

It can be hard to fall asleep💕 everyday is a new day to champion.

As I've gotten older, I've realized that 24 hours is honestly not that long. I want to use every day as powerfully as I can. I am grateful for daylight savings, which allows us to see more sunlight, especially in this season when we get an extra hour of sleep and we can readjust our schedule to be more of a healthy sleep style.

DAY 1: I’m grateful for days that I can dance in the rain with my grandma.

I love how the rain can replenish the earth and how it can smell so good. something that I will always remember is that in ninth grade when i was sitting in class, I learned what the name for the smell of rain was: petrichor. it's one of my favorite words that I know because I love the rain and the rebirth it brings.

This will be forever in my heart🌧️ I love you abuelita, thanks for always being down to dance.

Cutting Maiana’s Leaf Pt 2. 🍌💛🌴

I’m letting go of a need to feel validated by man before I do things. I want to be better at putting my trust in the Lord.

When I have put my trust in man it works sometimes but I have found it can be conditional and un-reliable. When you trust in God, you can have a stalwart source of peace and strength.

This week I read :)

🕊️Jeremiah 17:5-8
5 Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.
6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.
8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

I really was caught on “for he shall be like the heath in the desert” Heath is a meager bush found in deserts. It’s such a beautiful visual to imagine the contrast of a small bush vs. green beautiful fruit-giving tree.

I LOVE thinking that if I put my trust in the Lord, that I will have roots nourished with water, and I will worry not when the heat comes, I will not need to be careful in droughts, and will not cease yielding fruit.

If it helps put in the comment below the thing that you want to try letting go of! I’d love to add it my prayers!

Don’t let people put you in boxes 💕📦

Change is beautiful, necessary, revitalizing, in-everyday, joyous, heart-breaking, hopeful, humbling, messy. 🍁

Often people will put you in boxes… & keep you there

Don’t let them hold you back
from the change you are ready for.

Be bold, be beautiful, don’t be afraid for life to be messy before it feels right.

You’re ready for this new season☀️

Me and my lil sis are cheering you on💛 by @jacobgholman

I love how nature celebrates change 🍁🧡

I went up the canyon with my sister to see the exploding colors in the mountain. It was so peaceful and a needed reminder of the sheer beauty of change.

Change is beautiful. And it is something that should be strived for each day. There is joy in change. There is joy in becoming the best version of yourself.

Jesus helps me change every day. He helps me feel like I can have as many second chances as I need. Change is hard, it often requires you to let go of things, but I’ve always felt the future is bright.

You can change. 🧡 embrace the colors of your new season.🍁Savor it. Don’t rush it. It’s going to be amazing!!

I believe in you my friend. Change is beautiful !!!

God WILL make it work for your good. 💛

Just give Him some time my friend. It’s going to all work out.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose”.

I believe whoever can put their trust in God 💛 will be supported in their trials, troubles, and afflictions! The burden may not go away but it will feel lighter. Science shows that trusting in a higher power whatever that may be for you 🫶🏽 nature, the universe, meditation can improve your self-efficacy. Your belief in yourself to do what is needed!

Life is hard and sometimes it can be so hard to have a heart of trust❤️‍🔥 I’m trying to get better at it every day.

Love, your internet friend Jacob 💌
