WE’RE BBBBAAAACCCCKKKK

Since 2012 @optimus.barbell has been extremely active in local weightlifting. From hosting the first local meet in West Palm Beach, Florida to hosting meets in metro Detroit to participating in local meets in multiple states per month.

In 2024 we had to take a step back from the local scene to grow some of our other business models. It was a hard decision but one that needed to be made in order for us to grow where we wanted to long term.

I told @justin.tebedo from @motorcitybarbellclub that his meet would be our first one back. He checked in on @team83elite when he had his battle with an Aortic Dissection last year. That meant the world to us. The least we could do is show up to his meet and slam some bars!

Thank you Justin and Motor City for hosting an awesome meet.

Thank you to all of Optimus for the support and your unwavering commitment to our standard.

I’m excited to be back in the local scene again, I missed it!

The team accolades from Summer Slam:

✅ 2 first time lifters
✅ 12 PR’s
✅ Medals: a lot
✅ A TON OF FUN

Onward.
