Last one from the bush… or maybe just see you later.

This post took me a while to write because putting it into words made it feel real.

A year and a half ago I arrived in this incredible place, and somewhere along the way it became home. Not because of the buildings or the views (although they’re unforgettable), but because of the people. The friendships, the laughs, the challenges, and everything we shared made this chapter truly special.

Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey. You’ll always have a place in my mind, but even more importantly, in my heart.

Now it’s time for the next adventure.

Next stop: Zanzibar. 🌊

What do your days off look like when you work in the bush?

For me, it’s places like Lake Natron and Ol Doinyo Lengai. Wild landscapes, endless horizons, and the kind of silence that helps you reconnect, with nature and with yourself.

Perdón por subestimarte, Kilimanjaro.
Nos dijeron que eras un paseo.
Nos recibiste con viento, frío y tormenta.
Una ruta de 7 días comprimida en 4 y medio.
La noche de cumbre: 6 horas contra el clima más salvaje que nuestro guía con más de 400 cumbres había visto en años.
Muchos se rindieron en la oscuridad.
Nosotros seguimos. Paso a paso. Respiración a respiración.
Cuando el cuerpo quiso parar, la cabeza empujó.
Cuando la montaña apretó, apretamos más fuerte.
No fue bonito.
No fue fácil.
Fue guerra.
Pole pole nuestros cojones.
Live fast. Die last.

Thank you, 2025.
The year my soul was called to Tanzania, a place I arrived at with few expectations, but an open heart.
Surrounded by nature in its purest form, and by people whose warmth and simplicity come straight from the heart, I found the space to slow down and truly listen.
This land, through its landscapes and its people, gently guided me back to myself, grounding me, healing me, and reminding me of what truly matters.
I now trust the journey. I trust that nothing is random, and that every place and every person we meet carries a lesson meant just for us.
This place found me for a reason, and for that, I am deeply grateful.
