Waddup y’all, I’m back with some cool shots and a story! ⬇️ 📸

This weekend I jumped on an opportunity to join a free photowalk hosted by @the.pixel.connection and the very talented Cleveland photographer @gabewasylko ! 30+ awesome photographers and I explored Squires Castle, a popular Metropark attraction in Willoughby Hills. It was awesome to chat with other creative folks and relate to how we like to frame our shots. I challenged myself to find ways to show off the cool architecture by including the tourists to show a sense of scale. 🏰

Also, this was my 1st photowalk with a full-frame camera that I inherited from my Dad that passed away earlier this summer. He was a very talented wedding photographer and was highly regarded by those who trusted him to capture some of their most special moments. photography is neat and I credit him for introducing me to this craft, thank u ☀️ #gabesphotowalk #photography #castle #canon #architecture #clevelandmetroparks taken in Squire's Castle by @jacobsvision

Ayyye hey guys! This is a shot I had been dreaming to get for a couple of weeks! I have to use the highway to get home and about halfway into my commute I get on a curving exit lane that reveals this lovely white bridge. When I noticed that the structure was completely surrounded by foliage, I knew I had to get this shot. The icing on the cake was that while I was adjusting my settings, an actual human was waking across at the bridge in super bright clothing! I made sure to keep my hand steady while I timed my shot. It was a pretty cool day. Happy August everyone! Although I’ve been a little busy with work ya boy still has his camera on him✌🏾 This is a shot of my neighbors house, and I glance up at this almost everyday before as I pull out the driveway. One day during golden hour I noticed how the diagonal edge of house reflected off of this window frame. I tried to adjust myself as best I could to get a half ‘n half split, so I could fill the top half of the window frame with the cool sky, and the bottom with the sun kissed wood paneling. I also enjoy how isolated this window is, and that the paneling fills the entire frame. Shoutout to light room for being so good at perspective correction 🔥 Swipe for the source image✌🏾 #archaicmag #architecture #design #isometric #art #canon #inspiration #shakerheights #architecturephotography #simplicity #minimalism #sinkmag #cleveland taken in Shaker Heights, Ohio by @jacobsvision

Ohhh snap what’s goin on y’all! I’m back for the 6th time this week with the last photo in my Hillcrest Hospital series! This was a really fun mini project for me and I hope you guys enjoyed it too.
I believe this was my first good image of Hillcrest’s overhanging roof, and it inspired me to find more visually stunning angles throughout the afternoon. I enjoy how simple this shot looks- clean sky, thin sharp lines with a little bit of grunge ✌🏾— thanks for the love you guys have been giving me this week! I’ll share some of my extra shots sometime soon! Happy Friday everybody! I’m back again with another dope shot from my afternoon walking around Hillcrest Hospital 2 weeks ago! I wanted to take advantage of the weather and decided to go for an image that’s evenly bisected by the clear sky and building. Tbh there’s a not a whole lot about to talk about with this one- but I love it all the same 😭 tomorrow I’ll be wrapping up this mini series so keep ya eyes peeled🔥

Hey guys! Yep, I’m back again with another image I captured during my trip to Hillcrest hospital a few days ago. I really tried to peek though every nook and cranny to find the best angles and I’m not stopping yet😂 This particular shot features a really cool overhanging roof — but has a rectangular prism cutout in the middle! My idea for this shot was to use the paneling to get an isometric look, with a little bit of sky peeking out the side!
Ya boy will be back with rad shot tomorrow! Swipe for the source image✌🏾 #archaicmag #architecture #design #isometric #art #canon #inspiration #clevelandclinic #architecturephotography #simplicity #minimalism #sinkmag #cleveland taken in Hillcrest Hospital by @jacobsvision

What’s goin’ on everybody! I’m back again with another cool image that I captured during my afternoon at Hillcrest Hospital a few days ago.
While I don’t know exactly what significance this white corrugated structure has, I thought it’s form looked really cool in front of this weathered concrete wall. It took a couple tries to get the right edge of the chevoron pattern to align with the division in the wall behind it. I also appreciated that weather was kind enough to give me a perfectly clear sky! ☀️ —

Hey Guys! This image is the second of 6 images I captured outside of Hillcrest Hospital’s beautiful facility. —
This shot is features a paneled vertical wall that supports a canopy for cars drive under to shield passengers from sun and rain as they arrive to the main entrance. What stood out to me about this shot is how clean the paneling is. I feel that that sterile look is nicely complimented by the smooth gradient created by the sky. The only retouching I did was on the telephone pole in the bottom right corner- but that diagonal reflection is 100% real

Happy Monday everybody! About 2 weeks ago I spent an afternoon in Mayfield Heights, Ohio to appreciate Hillcrest Hospital’s beautiful architecture and interior design. I’ve been wanting to capture images here for a while and I picked a perfect day to do it!

I enjoy how the light in the scene bounces off the bottom of this overhanging roof, creating a soft sheen. I surprised myself when I noticed the right edge of that overhang vertically aligns with the paneling of the wall below it! I’m trying to be more intentional with my compositions by cropping diagonal lines in the corners of the frame when I can.
This image is 1 of 6 stylistically similar shots I’ll be sharing throughout this week! So stay tuned! Hey y’all, last weekend I went downtown to attend a local video game tournament! I played super smash brothers and used my favorite character (Samus 💥) and was happy to win at least one game 😂 On my way back home, me and @jazzie_so_beautiful walking around tower city and realized that I hadn’t captured this sky dome yet! I tried my hardest to make the image as symmetrical as I could, I wish my phone camera lens was wider because i couldn’t get the whole dome in the frame😤 I still like it though!
