JACØB THE PRØDIGAL
Before PRØDIGAL, there was CHAOS—a reflection of a life driven by rebellion, addiction, pride, betrayal, hunger, isolation, and the constant pursuit of acceptance in the wrong places.
LOST
CHAOS represented the confusion. The noise. The version of JACØB that was searching for purpose in environments that only pushed him further away from himself. The world offered attention, temporary pleasure, and a sense of belonging—but none of it could heal what was broken beneath the surface.
FOUND
PRØDIGAL was born at the breaking point.
In the silence, God spoke. JACØB realized that the world could entertain him, celebrate him, and even reward him—but it could never restore him. True identity was not found in approval, popularity, addiction, or rebellion. It was found in returning to the Father.
The transition from CHAOS to PRØDIGAL is more than a rebrand. It is a testimony.
JACØB the PRØDIGAL represents the one who wandered, lost himself, and still found his way home. His music carries the scars of where he has been, the truth of what he survived, and the vision of who God is calling him to become.
PRØDIGAL is not about pretending the past never happened.
It is about proving that the past does not get the final word.

BAROQUE NOIR — JACØB THE PRØDIGAL

What happens when the world accepts you, but the people you look to for spiritual guidance make you feel like an outsider?

For Jacob, that question carries weight. Stepping away from his old life and toward his calling has brought moments of feeling alienated by Apostolic teachers he hoped would help him grow. Being willing to change doesn’t make rejection painless. Sometimes it makes it hurt more.

Working with boynxtdoorstudio’s lead designer and photographer, Justt Jeffery, Jacob brings that tension into BAROQUE NOIR. The timeless tailoring, dramatic shadows, and quiet intensity capture a man carrying both conviction and vulnerability. Behind the confidence is someone still longing to be understood.

His haircut represents a personal act of obedience to God. This portrait series captures the emotions surrounding that surrender—the hope of belonging, the ache of judgment, and the determination to keep seeking Jesus through it all.

Teachers have a responsibility to consider how they guide people. Correction can carry compassion. Conviction can leave room for questions. Someone taking steps toward God still needs a community willing to walk beside him.

The question behind these portraits is simple: When someone comes home to faith, do we help them find their place?

BAROQUE NOIR — JACØB THE PRØDIGAL

There’s a lot behind this new look. Gratitude for how far God has brought him. The vulnerability of letting go. And the weight of stepping into a ministerial role that asks more of the man behind the music.

Working with boynxtdoorstudio’s lead designer and photographer, Justt Jeffery, Jacob brought that Frank Sinatra feeling into a fashion editorial: timeless class, quiet confidence, and a little gangster edge. Inspired by vintage menswear and Old Hollywood glamour, this modeling shoot blends classic sophistication with cinematic portraiture. Baroque brings the drama and emotion. Noir brings the shadows and mystery.

Through expressive posing, deliberate body language, and a commanding camera presence, Jacob brings his personal transformation into the frame. This is where male modeling, fashion photography, and visual storytelling meet—with emotion giving the imagery its depth.

His haircut carries meaning beyond appearance. It represents obedience to God and a willingness to release something familiar as he steps into a new season. There’s confidence here, but also humility—a man learning that answering his calling means allowing himself to be changed.

BAROQUE NOIR captures Jacob at that threshold: carrying his story, embracing his responsibility, and trusting God with who he’s becoming.

OBEDIENCE OVER EVERYTHING. ✝️

Three different Christians. Three different moments. The same question.

Jacob was told—or asked—to consider cutting his hair. Each time, his response was essentially the same:

“If God gives me a dream and tells me to cut it, I’ll cut it.”

Not because someone pressured him.
Not because hair determines holiness.
Not because cutting it makes him more saved.

But because if God asks for something, nothing on this earth is worth choosing over Him.

Then three days ago, JACØB THE PRØDIGAL received the dream.

And the question he had answered hypothetically became real:

Would you actually obey when it costs you something personal?

His answer was YES.

So he cut his hair.

This testimony isn’t really about hair. It’s about surrender. It’s about being willing to lay down something you value when you believe God is asking for it.

There is nothing on this earth—no image, possession, relationship, opportunity, status, or personal attachment—that should be able to separate us from our Heavenly Father.

Sometimes obedience won’t make sense to everybody watching.

It only has to make sense between you and God.

📖 Deuteronomy 28:1–2 (NLT)
“If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the world. You will experience all these blessings if you obey the LORD your God.”

The reward isn’t always what you give up.

Sometimes the greatest reward is becoming the person who can finally say:

“God, whatever You ask of me, my answer is YES.”
