POSTS STORIES REELS
Earlier this summer, I signed another extension of my contract as Berlingske’s U.S. correspondent, which means I’ll now be staying in Washington till 2029. I arrived here from Copenhagen all alone two years ago with three big suitcases and set out to build a brand-new life and career in the American capital. It has exceeded my wildest expectations, though it’s been hard work on every level. Now, both personally and professionally, I’m having the time of my life — and I feel so honored and humbled to report on this moment in American history. Every day, I’ll continue doing my best to be fair, balanced, analytical, and never biased. Four more years, baby ✌️❤️🇺🇸🇩🇰 by @jacobthereporter
🎥 Amanda Holmgaard Sørensen by @jacobthereporter
🎥 Amanda Holmgaard Sørensen by @jacobthereporter
🎥 Amanda Holmgaard Sørensen by @jacobthereporter
🎥 Amanda Holmgaard Sørensen by @jacobthereporter
Theo and I had no idea the photographer took this when we arrived for the Danish Constitution Day party at the embassy. This year Denmark and the United States of America celebrates 225 years of unbroken diplomatic relations. We belong together ❤️🇺🇸🇩🇰 by @jacobthereporter
Big news: we decided to move in together 😍 — and yesterday we signed the lease on our Park View loft. On July 1st, we get the keys to tons of space, soaring ceilings, and best of all, we still get to keep a rooftop view of the entire capital (and yes, there’s even a hot tub on the roof😅) by @jacobthereporter

It’s probably been the best year of my life. Filled with love, family and friends in America and Denmark. Work and fun in equal measure. I’m so grateful for 2025. Happy new year 💫❤️ by @jacobthereporter
A perfect, long lunch with Theo, Ditte and Bastian at the best restaurant for Danish smørrebrød 🥹❤️🇩🇰 by @jacobthereporter
Last week, I had the pleasure of spending two days in Washington, D.C., with Their Royal Highnesses Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark. What began as an interview quickly turned into a very personal — even intimate — conversation about family life and their experiences as expat royals in the American capital. The full interview will be published tomorrow in Berlingske 💫❤️ (Photo by the brilliant @soeren_bidstrup ) by @jacobthereporter
