Tonight was probably the best dry fly fishing of my entire life. No monsters today, but every fish was a decent hard fighting fish and this super dynamic river section makes for a very interesting fight. So many things for them to wrap up and break off on. I’m not even sure how many fish I caught tonight but I’ll remember this night for a long time.!! #montana #flyfishing #fishing #trout #wildlife taken in Montana by @jacobthewildman

Cleaning up the half finished hull. Still got a ways to go before I’m done stripping but I wanted to clean this glue off and see what the joints look like. I’m very happy with how it’s turning out. An overview of the very time consuming process of building a strip canoe without stems and without staples. Although slower it will produce a very very clean hull with absolutely no fastener holes and a continuous strip profile all around the canoe. #montana #boatbuilding #woodworking #canoe #water taken in Montana by @jacobthewildman

Dry fly fishing was awesome today. I tried a new spot that I’ve never tried before and I’m so glad I did. I will definitely be back here very shortly. #montana #flyfishing #fishing #trout #wildlife taken in Montana by @jacobthewildman
