Swamp Water opens TONIGHT at Zygote Press in their new permanent location: 3907 Perkins Avenue, Cleveland OH. 💚 🪷 💚

This artist book and exhibition explores the importance of wetlands within the Lake Erie Watershed, including their history and restoration efforts.

To many people, wetlands seem unsightly. It can be difficult to see the benefit of an inaccessible wilderness. Artists and writers can act as stewards, not only helping to restore the wetlands to their original physical states, but also to regain a spiritual connection to these landscapes. This exhibition explores the concept of spiritual ecology, which proposes that there is a spiritual facet to all issues related to conservation, environmentalism, and sustainable land stewardship.

Talks by @michaelmarefka and @buckeye.bog.life begin at 6 pm.

Happy All Saints Day!

A Halloween homage to a peasant with courage, Joan of Arc. 🗡️ ❤️‍🔥 ✨

I had a lot of fun styling this look with authentic armor, a longtime favorite dress from @gypsymothvintage, and a new @theparadisegalleria necklace, never to be worn together again (it was unbearably heavy).

📍 @oxboworchardohio in beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park — 6765 Canal Rd, Valley View, OH 44125, USA

Join me for a workshop that provides a hands on introduction to the process from start to finish. Participants will learn how to get started with cyanotype printing including a full supply list, process and technique building instruction, and helpful tips for achieving the best results. Each participant will walk away with their own unique print. Since it’s winter in Cleveland, participants will print using a UV lamp instead of sunshine. All supplies are included.
