day in the life of a work from home nurse and avid reader, I almost finished both my books today despite it being a meeting heavy day because they were both such a good time!

I’m also doing a @stepbet this month and with my 2 outdoor walks with the pups I was able to get my 14K steps I needed for a power day 🤌🏼💁🏼‍♀️

we got through midterm week yall !!! 🥳🥹🙌🏼

Have you watched Verity, if so what is the consensus? 👀 and are we in agreement to be team manuscript?

I was between that and watching other mommy, but I’m happy I chose being able to sleep without looking over my shoulder 🤭

Also, we celebrated BOSS DAY early so I made sure to get my charge nurse a gift card to show her some appreciation 🥰
Funny enough, later that week I received Starbucks goodies delivered as a means to wish me good luck on my exam! 🥹

No because what do you meannnn I had to put pause on reading the knave and the moon so I can study these pathophysiology disease exemplars 😭

I will say, midterm week snuck up on me and I’m so excited I survived my first midterm season! 7 weeks to go before the end of semester 1/8 ✨💁🏼‍♀️🥳

Now I’m 70% in this book and determined to finish reading what happens to Bartholemew ⛰️ 🔨

week 6 and we’re officially heading into midterms?! WHAT?! And it’s now spooky season?! 🎃

This week was for hitting the science books hard and lots of boba to keep me fueled. I submitted my national patient safety goal draft for my peers to review and worked on my pathophysiology readings. Also it was finally half marathon race week and yall saw how that went 🤭🥳

So in the middle of my studies, and training, I decided to also get some work done on my yard… my week was truly booked and busy. I’ve been wanting to spruce up my yard since I moved in over 5 years ago and finally budgeted to get it done, new porch and patio space who this 🫰🏼☎️

hi, hello. we are officially done with week 4 ✅

1 month in and I’m getting a routine down, shoutout to my pathophysiology professor for holding a zoom session this week to discuss the course. She was the cutest, and also acknowledged the readings are heavy, which was validating.
My classmates also recommended to utilize the study guide workbook version of the textbook which I’m excited to use to supplement my readings.

Movement this week was 1 bodypump class, 2 runs, and 1 strenuous hike up mt baldy via devils backbone… if you know you know. My feet are still healing.

Reading, I hit 150 books this week and officially met my 2026 reading goal!! Also I feel bad but romance is not hitting like it used to, I’ve genuinely been gravitating towards thrillers, I can’t help it 🤷🏼‍♀️
But I’m itching to start on Red Rising and Knight and The Moth so I need a good reset day to start those books!

Week 3 is complete but yall I’m starting to struggle with week 4, mainly because I’m a planner and like to get my work done early.
Anyway, I’m excited to start focusing my readings more and utilizing @goodnotes.app to do it.
