Just got home from the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center for Stages's production of "Guys and Dolls". It was wonderful! Very entertaining! I've seen the movie and other productions and this cast of actors, singers, and dancers were outstanding! by @jacquelynwright77

Papa and I performed "The Lion & the Mouse" puppet show this morning at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center for the Kirkwood Public Library. We had an audience of 100. To our surprise, storyteller and puppet guild member Catherine was in the audience. Also, we were surprised to see a family that came to see us almost everywhere we performed publicly when the children were 6 and 9. Now they are 17 and 20. It was so good to see them again. Sunday, Day 8: Today we say farewell as we depart for home, reflecting on the wonderful experiences and sights we enjoyed throughout the trip. We met a lot of interesting people in our tour group. Our tour directors were the best!
They are a husband and wife, Scott and Nina Davis. They kept us entertained on the motorcoach with fun activities and made sure we reached each destination safely and on time. Why were they so good? Nina is a newly retired kindergarten teacher and Scott is a newly retired middle school P. E. teacher and high school baseball coach. They have the skills.
This was our first trip traveling with Sunrise Tours. We had a good time and will travel with them again. by @jacquelynwright77

Day 1 of our Southern Charm vacation with Sunrise Tours started with waking up at 4:30 to meet the motorcoach at 6 am in St. Charles. We have a great driver and two tour directors who are a husband and wife team. Both of them are retired teachers. We are headed for Savannah, Georgia. We stopped in Cartersville, Ga for dinner and an overnight stay. by @jacquelynwright77

The President of Missouri Storytelling, Inc., Joyce Slater, came to our morning show at the Puppetry Arts Institute in Independence, MO on Saturday. She took some pictures of us during the performance. Here are a few of them. I'm sorry we didn't get a picture with her. Oh what a good time we had last Friday, January 16th at Third Presbyterian Church Preschool in Moline Acres, MO. Papa and I performed our winter show, "The Ant and the Grasshopper" twice. These pictures are of the younger group. Thanks Ms. Lee for sending me the pictures. by @jacquelynwright77

Went to the Black Repertory Theater today to see "Dance on Widow's Row" at the Edison Theater on the campus of Washington University. It is a dark comedy about death, dating, and superstition.
