Bittersweet road trip to London ( the Ont London🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️) to help Sara move back - seeing her life there, all she’s independently navigated & accomplished & realizing she’s fully launched, and it’s a new stage of motherhood / parenthood was all the feels. Well worth the exhaustion to be able to finish this last stretch with her & @cashcolburn ❤️🙏 congrats you two graduates!! by @jacquihakes

I missed far too many games / tournaments for work over Ben’s years in hockey- when it hit me that this was his last year in minor hockey I made an impulsive decision to go see him & his team in Victoria- did they ever put on a show! The higher the stakes, the more zen this guy gets & seems to be at his best. An added bonus was reconnecting with my cousin Joanne & her partner Joe while there - I love authentic connections! Man did I ever get to experience the best of Victoria ❤️ by @jacquihakes

So excited for the year ahead for Ben- he has literally won the goaltender lottery- gets to train under & learn from a goaltending coaching legend & play for a home team at a wicked facility… and to get to go to the @nsspsd next year is the icing on the cake. So grateful to @dmsgcalgary , @pushithockey, @citius_strength & @eye2eye_calgary for working with him so much this summer ! by @jacquihakes

Today was a fun FB memory day. So grateful for these two kiddos and all the experiences with them that have enriched our lives so much. @sarahakess we need a @royaltyrrell sleepover repeat this summer! by @jacquihakes

Mexico 2025 spring break part two! So glad the hockey schedule finally cooperated to let us have an adventure with Ben! Loved seeing how he’s developed this year after billeting. He was our Cdn bridge builder, befriending all the American Seniors! ( and now has prospective billets lined up in Minn & Texas! Oy. by @jacquihakes

Miss her. Today was mom’s birthday. It was a hard day missing so many things about her. So I treated myself to a special lunch and ordered soup in her honour. She really really loved her soups. ♥️ by @jacquihakes

17 years with this amazing guy! I am beyond proud of the quality person Ben is. As a mom it’s the best feeling the day you realize while they still may benefit from your love and support they no longer “ need” you, their wings are fully grown & they’re soaring . by @jacquihakes
