2025 local highlights. It’s getting late in a long game so some of these have been on the want list a looong time. Satisfying to land them, to say the least. Go Set announced the Sunrise anti-smoking 45 in 1974 but got the title comically wrong. “It’s Choking Smokers not Joking Smokers, fools”, said the band as they rolled spliffs of Riverina green. It’s a bluesy dirge addressing all the evils of smoking with a bright uplifting coda signifying when the darts have been defeated. B’s an amateur take on Brown Sugar. Cover by Peter Russell-Clarke (early Aus celebrity chef) which explains what looks like a plate of saffron powder. #grillfat by @jacshark
