Just a moment of peace for the timeline today
Bach BWV 639 - Ich ruf’ zu dir,Herr Jesu Christ ( i call to you, Lord Jesus Christ). Bach BWV 639 is a choral prelude it’s one of the most beloved and moving pieces from his ( Little Organ Book collection). It is the only Trio in the entire collection, this means it has three musical lines: the chorale melody ( soprano), a flowing and constant semiquaver figure in the middle voice ( my favorite) and third one is the bass.
In this video I’m performing a part of this prelude transcribed by Ferruccio Busoni for the Piano. This version take’s Bach’s original and adapts it for the piano capabilities, adding interpretive depth and becoming a staple of the piano repertoire. #Bach #organ #piano #classicalmusic by @jad.chamoun
