Happy birthday to Giada Freddi — the **JAD** in Jad Freer, Mauro’s better half, and one of the people whose hands, care and attention are behind so many of the products that leave our lab.

If Mauro is the circuit wizard, Giada is one of the essential forces that turns those ideas into real things — built, checked, finished and ready to make music.

Jad Freer simply wouldn’t be Jad Freer without her.

Back in New York with Jad Freer’s Andrea Lombardini, artist Mitch Friedman and luthier James Carbonetti at The Guitar Shop — and with John Davis at Bunker Studio.

A small glimpse of a much bigger network connecting Jad Freer, La Bella, Olito, Carbonetti and some of the people and places we deeply value in NYC.

Collaboration like this is what keeps things moving: musicians, builders, engineers and companies sharing ideas, instruments, sounds and experience instead of staying in their own lane.

A quick look inside the making of 𝐒𝐈𝐒𝐌𝐀.

Every component is placed by hand on the board, one by one, before the whole assembly goes through the solder bath — also done manually in our lab.

It may look like a small step, but it says a lot about the way we build: hands-on, carefully controlled, and with real people involved in every stage of the process.

No shortcuts. Just electronics built the way we believe they should be.

A very special 𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐎 for a very special musician.

While in New York, Jad Freer A&R and R&D Andrea Lombardini visited 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 to celebrate his 86th birthday and brought him a custom 𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐎 made especially for the occasion — complete with a little swallow added to the artwork.

It felt like the perfect pedal for Steve.

𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐎 was designed for players who want a preamp, EQ and DI that preserve the identity of the instrument rather than impose a new one: enhancing what is already there, adding presence, depth and control without getting in the way.

For a musician whose sound has been unmistakably his own for more than six decades, that philosophy feels particularly fitting.
