Converse!
The goal was to replicate my own shoe as close as possible. I included every of the thinning canvas, the cracks in the rubber soles, the canvas texture, and the word down logos

earthenware with underglaze and clear glaze.

Popularization of HBO’s The Last of Us reminded me of a prop weapon I built in May 2021. The item can be crafted in-game and serves as a temporary melee weapon.

Details:
- main body is scrap PVC (about 3’ in height)
- orange and black paint was mixed with sawdust to simulate rust texture and calcium buildup
-self adhesive bandages “secure” the scissors (actually secured with 2 screws under the bandages)
-a large pair of dulled and disassembled scissors
-dirty paint water to distress bandages
-lightweight!
