We've gotten some new followers recently and would love to take a moment to introduce ourselves! 💚

The Jade District is a program of APANO that has long been defined by the area it covers and the communities that reside and work here. It is located in SE Portland along SE 82nd Avenue and SE Division Street. Within our .91 square mile boundary, we are a vibrant neighborhood of more than 400 multi-cultural businesses. Whether you have questions about the Jade District or just want to learn something new, this one's for you!

Answers to scavenger hunt questions:
1️⃣History of the Jade: Canton Grill fed Portland's communities for 76 years.
2️⃣People of the Jade: 33.9% of people in the Jade District were born in another country.

Looking forward to seeing folks at the next Open Studios on Friday 9/25! Check out this post for more details.

BIPOC affinity space, masks required, at O82! 😷 [face with mask] open-ended and drop-in style, no need to arrive right at 4pm or stay the whole time. 🐌 [snail]

Lilly and Tracey from @writearoundpdx will be hosting a drop-in writing circle. No need to bring anything, all supplies will be provided~ ✍🏽 [writing hand]

Optionally, you can bring a meal to share potluck-style, or a solo meal -- we'll have a limited amount of food available. 🍱 [bento box] You can also check out the many great restaurants in the Jade District!

Open Studios is back from our summer pause!!! 🎉🎉🎉 [3 confetti emojis] We had so much fun at the Jade Night Market and at our small business pop-ups~

We're so excited to welcome y'all back to our Jade District third place to create more art and build community together. 🥰 [smiling face with hearts]

One of our wonderful teammates at APANO, Madeleine, has created a scavenger hunt for this Saturday's Jade Night Market and we can’t wait to share it with you!
