I will never stop fighting for food producers. Never. I come from a long line of them, and Labor is destroying that legacy in favour of their misplaced ideology and Greens preferences.

Sometimes, listening to the Allan Labor Government try to justify their contempt for food producers and the regions just grinds my gears to a halt.

Remember, without us, you’d be hungry, naked & sober!!

@maddy.rumbold this is what I was talking about the other day.

Our Accelerating Apprenticeships Fund will halve of the job training costs for businesses, saving small businesses nearly $4,000 per apprentice.

Our plan will make it easier for businesses, including small businesses, to employ more apprentices and help young tradies kickstart a rewarding career sooner.

It’s time for a fresh start.

The Nationals in government will invest $53.3 million into the Victorian Patient Transport Assistance scheme (VPTAS).
This will;
- Increase accommodation assistance from $49.50 to $125 per night, an increase of more than 150 per cent.
• Increase private vehicle travel assistance from 21 cents to 35 cents per kilometre, an increase of almost 67 per cent.

We will also make sure you’re reimbursed on time, not waiting for months like you have been.

Not every student thrives in a traditional classroom, and not every young person wants to go to university.

If, like me, you’re more of a hands-on learner, then this announcement is a really important one.

The Nationals team will establish 10 new Technical Colleges, giving 5,000 secondary students hands-on vocational training and earlier pathways into trades and other high-demand careers.

Students will train in trades such as plumbing, electrical and carpentry, as well as healthcare and hospitality.

This is especially important for Sunraysia and the Mallee as the demand for skilled workers increases.

The Nationals have a plan to deliver for regional Victoria.
