🌺 WHERE THE SEA MEETS THE BLOOM 🌊

A love letter to island life, salt air, tropical flowers, wandering spirits and the beauty of the ocean meeting the land.

I’ve been holding onto these designs for a while, and I think they’re finally ready to leave the sketchbook and find their forever homes. 🤍

✨Available to tattoo now✨

If any has been calling your name, DM me to claim it.

For Vaporwave Tattoo 🪩

I’ve found it difficult to put into words what it has felt like to lose something I loved so deeply. Vaporwave was never just a tattoo studio to me. It was a piece of me.
I poured my heart, my energy and so much of my life into those walls. I created a space where I felt safe to work, create and exist, but more than that, I watched it become a little home for other artists and clients too.

People came through those doors and made memories there. Friendships were formed. Ideas were born. Bodies were adorned. There was laughter, vulnerability, celebration, uncertainty, growth. So many little moments that, at the time, felt ordinary.. now feel sacred. When I left, it felt like I left a piece of myself behind.

I think one of the hardest parts has been accepting that something can be so right for you, and still not be meant to last forever.

I’ve always found change difficult. Letting go of an identity I spent so many years building feels especially painful. There are days when I wonder how I could possibly find something that feels as good, as meaningful or as right as this did.

I loved that space.
I loved the people.
I loved the life I had created there.

And I think I’m allowed to grieve that. Perhaps moving forward doesn’t mean leaving it all behind. Perhaps we carry the places that loved us. Perhaps everything I poured into Vaporwave.. the creativity, the courage, the community, the lessons, the love.. comes with me into whatever is next.

I don’t know yet what that looks like. 🫥

I only know that there is still so much of me left to create.

And maybe one day, I’ll look back at this chapter and realise that losing something I loved so much wasn’t the end of the story.

✨It was the moment I was asked to become someone new.✨

Thank you, Vaporwave, for giving me a place to belong.
For everything that happened within those walls.
For everyone who passed through them.
And for the piece of me I found there and will carry with me forever.💞

Some things aren’t meant to last forever.
But that doesn’t make them any less beautiful 🌸❤️‍🩹 by @jadechaneltattoos

A fairy for Sophie 🧚🏼💞 A little backstory…

I met Sophie’s aunty many moons ago when I was working at my very first tattoo studio. I remember Lauren telling me she had a niece who absolutely loved tattoos. I’m pretty sure Sophie was only 7 or 8 years old at the time.
Fast forward to today, and I’ve just tattooed Sophie at 18.
Moments like this really make me stop and reflect on how far I’ve come.. not just as an artist, but because of the incredible support I’ve had along the way. There’s something so special about longevity, commitment, and the relationships that grow with time.
