I recommend everyone buying this before it disappears - the A side has the original, but side B has a new mix with the reverb quietened down, the clav / bass / drums more at the front of the mix, and the vocal lays off after a short while so we have an extended instrumental out-take never released. Was looking through some old Flickr photos today, found a photo of the last piece I painted at “The Pit”, Groveside (before it was demolished) alongside Snatch @iamfakeblood in March 2010. Also found the one before, from October 2009. Rest in peace Peta Kennedy. One of my best friends for a few years, she was always there for me when I was feeling sad or completely skint, cooking me dinners, buying me drinks, even paying for a hotel room once, hanging out with me on thousands of nights being stupid and having excellent times.

Here are some of my favourite pics:

1. At the filming of The Wiseguys “Ohh La La” video at a stock car racing track in Essex. I was taking the piss out of the locals and she was crying (with laughter).

2. “PK” on my PK Ripper BMX in my back garden.

3. Back at her flat with @littlegingerbastard and @_evil_o one evening. I turned up and smashed one of her 3 dining chairs when I was acting out a story, she got massively annoyed and smacked me one (I think she was so annoyed she didn’t want to look into the camera here).

4. Photo I took of Peta when we were being shot for the “Fuck off I Love You” exhibition that @husemonfaradi was directing.

It’s just incredibly sad that I’ll never see her again. All of us are feeling it. Poor Peta. ❤️ by @jadellzee

Lunchtime dig in Soho. There are 4 incredible record shops all less than 1 minute from our office, which is straight up dangerous! Been hoping to find D.R. Hooker in the wild for a good few years, picked it up for a tenner. Joy! Obsessed with lots of Klaus Schulze, this is one of my faves. Very trippy. Bought the 3rd copy of “Expansions” I’ve owned over the decades, this time I’m keeping it. I want to draw your attention to this Herbert Bodzin EP from 1977 also, if you like funky-psych-jazz. Truly slept on so buy it whilst copies are still about for cheap! THERE IS TOO MUCH GOOD MUSIC. EXCELLENT NEWS ✅✅ by @jadellzee
