Some days are easier than others. Life is amazing but sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to really see it. Remember how much a smile or a good gesture can do for a person. No one is perfect, making mistakes is the number one way to grow. I’m not saying go fuck up on purpose, I’m saying take the leap/make the decision/take a risk. Believe in yourself, write your dreams down.

Today is the day to start. Give yourself grace. You can do anything you put your mind too. I’ve been pretty lost. Here’s to finding myself. by @jadenskigull

A piece for assorted lunatics. Thank you Keystone for everything. This season has taught me more about myself than I could have imagined. After one of the hardest off seasons I’ve ever had, I was pretty sure it wasn’t going to “work out” out here. But man, I have met some of the most amazing people that will now be in my life forever. I am so thankful for Bella. Your constant glow and motivation to stay sober and have fun doing it brought my light back. And to my friend Jackson you are one of the funniest coolest dudes I have ever met. You showed me that we can still work hard and play harder, from long days at work to long days on the mountain I am so grateful for you. And to my whole 505 manager squad not a day goes by that I don’t feel grateful to be able to be myself at work and in life. Everyone is so special and has so many gifts to give to the world. I never thought I would be so happy to be alive. If you are reading this and feel stuck or depressed, keep pushing I believe in you more than you know, myself and so many others have been in your shoes. YOU CAN DO THIS. YOU CAN BE HAPPY. I went to Yosemite for the first time with one of the coolest people I know. This dude showed me Alice In Chains when I was 8. When I hit him up to do this he said yes with no question. We summited Half Dome and hiked all over the park. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my entire life.

2 days, 31 miles, 6k feet of climbing, a million laughs, hundreds of dumb references and goofy impressions. This sober journey has showed me that you really can do whatever you set your mind to. Follow your dreams, I promise it will be worth it!

Messing around with my old camera, screwed up the Instagram format. Whateva. Been going through it and about to do a big life move. Life is about discipline and progression. Everyday is an opportunity to better yourself. Losing people in my life has taught me a lot, and it has also has pushed me to be the best I can be. Many of you may know that addiction has been something I have battled with for a long time. It is not easy to talk about and even harder to admit that I am one. However I think that is the first step towards getting better. I am now sober and I am very motivated to keep it going and share my story with others. I’m not going to lie and say this journey was easy or fell right into place. It fucking sucked! I’ve hurt people, made bad decisions, let people down, and most importantly I wasn’t there for myself. I look up to people in this industry that work hard and above everything else show resiliency in their lifestyle. I’m going to tag a few here and continue to make little videos and such until I find a way to make skiing/snowboarding and advocating for mental health my life! Thanks for reading, I love you. #sober

So I quit my job and moved back to hood. I am so grateful for the place I live and the people I have met. Stay tuned for some garbage ski edits this summer :) by @jadenskigull
