If you told me a year ago that my hairstyling would be featured in @glamourbulgaria after a year of doing hair at school and only 7 months post graduation I would’ve pulled an Elaine from seinfeld and screamed get out!!! Minus the shoving lol. Here’s to many more projects like these :D this is just the beginning 👀

what your hairstylist do when they have a gap by @jades.blades

The last two weeks have been a dream come true, and the grand finale was being given the honor to model for @wigsbyneillucas and @nickarrojo

I fought through dinosaur sized butterflies in my stomach to do my first three fashion week shows. Some looks I killed, some could have gone better, but all taught me something: just keep going.

I returned to the same building where I had felt like quitting hair entirely after a hard show, to learn from an incredible team, and get to wear the hair two of them created. The butterflies were replaced by awe and a whole lot of gratitude. And of course a lot of new hair tips to try:)

So a big thank you to my key @kategiddings and @whitstodyefor for being a great team (and hotel roommates lol) and for having the patience for a baby stylist to learn alongside your work. When life felt like fear and loathing for a second, we were all in the convertible together haha

And a huge thank you to @wigsbyneillucas and @nickarrojo . Neil you endure my endless questions and always have an eager answer. All of that while giving me a friend to sit next to while im 2000 miles away from home. Me and my future wigs cannot thank you enough.
Nick you are a wonderful host, you saw a kid looking lost in a restaurant and immediately made me feel like I was surrounded by friends. And even after you did a haircut with a camera and an audience in your face you still had the patience, to take the blade out of your razor and show me how to move it properly.

Thank you thank you thank you. by @jades.blades

Felt cute might delete later🐭

In all seriousness I thought i’d post some pics of my new haircut and introduce myself to all of the new people who have just found my page:3
My name is Jade but my friends call me Pj and I do a lot of hair lol.
The best part of hair to me is the sculpting aspect; which is why styling and cutting is what I enjoy the most.
I LOVE doing fashion shows and you might have seen my work in PCFW2026, the Milcreek design collective, and this upcoming NYFW! I also adore an editorial photoshoot. (Although I do enjoy a creative color project as well particularly shaved head painting!)
I love connecting with new people and creating a safe space to come hang out and leave looking more like yourself. I’ll warn ya, I am a talker and I want to learn all about you, but I’m totally comfortable with a quiet appointment too haha
I graduated hair school in jan of 2026 and it’s been a busy year setting up this career! My goal is to keep getting better behind the chair, do more creative projects, and I would love to eventually produce a fashion show and more photoshoots myself!

TLDR: hair nerd posted some selfies and loves their job

Some facts about me:
- my coffee order is a 16oz vanilla latte with soymilk
-both my sun and moon are aries
-im pretty decent at archery and knife throwing
-before hair I worked teaching teens health and relationship skills at planned parenthood and was a para in for second graders
-i have made a zine or two thats floating around out there
-i have a calvin and hobbes collection by @jades.blades
