Rest in peace, my sweet boy. You were the bestest boy and the first dog to show me what a truly genuine, loyal, and loving relationship with a pet feels like. From the moment we saw you, we knew you were meant to be part of our family.You listened, you protected, and you loved us unconditionally. You were everything anyone could ever ask for in a dog. Loving you was one of the greatest blessings of my life.I’m going to miss every single thing about you… the way you begged for food, how you wouldn’t eat until everyone stopped looking at you, going outside a thousand times a day, greeting us at the door with a toy in your mouth, going for rides, to the beach, your little tail wag and running around like nothing else mattered. Nothing is ever going to feel the same without you.I’m so sorry you had to go through this. If there was anything that could have saved you, we would have done it. And if I could’ve taken years from my own life to give to you, I wouldn’t have thought twice.Thank you for 10 incredible years of love, loyalty, and memories I’ll carry forever. My sweet Bentley,
I don’t know how to say goodbye to you so instead, I’ll speak to you the only way I know how, with love.Thank you for being pure joy and for having the biggest heart.Thank you for every cuddle, and making me feel safe.Thank you for the way you sang and barked to us,filling our home with your voice,your spirit and presence.Those sounds were life itself and now,the silence you’ve left behind is the loudest thing Ive ever heard.You were my safe space,and my calm in the world.On the hardest days,you cleared my head just by being near.You made me happy in a way nothing else ever could.Everyone keeps telling me you’re in a better place now,but you were my better place.You weren’t just a pet,you were family.You were comfort,you were home.You were love in its purest,most unconditional form,and loving you changed me forever.I will still look for you in every corner of the house,hoping you’ll suddenly appear with your cute little yellow eyebrows and those sweetest sparkly eyes,looking up at me like you always did.I will search for you in every lifetime,because a love like ours doesn’t end,it follows.I’m so sorry you had to go through this sickness,you didnt deserve it.If I could take years off my own life to give them to you,I wouldn’t have thought twice.We would have done anything for you,and we did,to get you healthier and to keep you here.You asked for nothing and gave us everything.I hope you always knew how deeply you were loved,how every choice our family made for you came from that love,even the one that broke my heart.If love could have saved you,you would have lived forever..and in my heart,you still do.Life feels quiet now,I miss everything about you.I’m gonna miss you following me everywhere like a mini shadow and never allowing me for personal space.I will miss you every single day for the rest of my life,but will walk with you forever.You are a part of me now,intertwined into who I am and will always be.

Another trip around the sun, and my heart is so full. 🤍
It’s so easy to get caught up in life and forget just how blessed I am. Today I’m reminded of how grateful I am for another year of health, growth, love, and the people who make this life so special. I have the most incredible family, the best friends, and a life I’m so thankful for. I wouldn’t trade my life or the relationships I’ve built for anything.
