POSTS STORIES REELS

There are seasons where devotion doesn’t look the way it used to.

Sometimes worship happens with a baby on your chest. Prayer gets interrupted. Quiet time isn’t always quiet.

You’re nurturing what God placed in your hands while still trying to make room for what He placed in your heart.

And maybe you’ve wondered, God, how do I hold all of this and still serve well without being pulled away from you?

But what if this season isn’t pulling you away from Him?

What if He desires to meet you right here?

In the tiredness. During the feeding.
In the carrying. In the moments where your attention is divided and your capacity feels stretched.

Motherhood does not disqualify you from intimacy with God. And your calling does not require you to become less present as a mother.

You may be carrying the child.
You may be carrying the vision.
You may be carrying responsibilities no one else can fully see.

But you were never asked to carry yourself.

Let Him hold the weight you were never meant to hold alone.

Let Him remind you that devotion is not measured by how uninterrupted your worship looks, but by a heart that continues to turn towards Him — again and again, in every season.

And perhaps that is part of the beauty of this season:

discovering that He is just as present in the in-between as He is in the moments that feel sacred.

Your call in every season, is to behold Him. Even in this one.

To the mother carrying both:
may you realise that while you are carrying so much, He is always carrying you. 🤍 by @jadetendo

I was on my way deeper into the sex industry when God interrupted my life.

I didn’t have an exit plan but I knew I needed to exit before I was pulled any deeper.

17 years on, when I look back over my life, I am overwhelmed by how intentional God was about my story.

At the time, I couldn’t see God’s plan..
I didn’t know that this chapter that was so deeply traumatic would become one of the most pivotal parts of my testimony.

I didn’t know the young woman He was rescuing would one day become a minister and tell other people about the same Jesus who came and got her.

And His rescue didn’t stop when I left that environment... Because sometimes God gets you out of the place before He begins getting the place out of you!!!

When He pulled me out of the sex industry He also began to pull me out of sex addiction. Out of lust. Out of shame. Out of anger. Out of pride. Out of self-hatred. Out of lies I had accepted as truth.

And He began bringing me into deliverance: freedom, healing, identity and purpose.

That is why I can never become too familiar with salvation. I want to keep the childlike heart that still whispers: You really came for me?

Because when you remember where He found you, worship flows differently.

So when you see this posture, you’re looking at a woman who remembers.

I remember what it was to be bound in sin.
I remember the doors God intentionally closed.
I remember the things that tried to hold me down. The things that tried to own me.
I remember the trajectory my life was on before His mercy interrupted it.

{SWIPE} >>>>

Maybe your story doesn’t look like mine.
Maybe God didn’t snatch you out of the sex industry.

But I wonder…
What did He snatch you out of?
What didn’t destroy you because His hand was on your life?

What addiction lost its grip?
What door did He close that you once cried about?
What toxic relationship did He pull you out of?
What version of you no longer exists because grace found you?

Sometimes reverence is simply remembering.
Remembering who you were.
Remembering what He broke off you.
Remembering what He protected you from.
Remembering that you did not save yourself.

May we never become so familiar with Jesus that the by @jadetendo

PART 3: The Final Missions ✈️🌴🇬🇩👀🤫

Just when the boys thought they had figured out what was happening… we had a few MORE surprises up our sleeves! 🤭

Mission 4 took us to the airport, but little did they know that their travel team wasn’t quite complete! 👀

Because waiting for them at the airport were their COUSINS!!! 🥹❤️

And the best part? THEY WERE COMING TOO!!! ✈️😂

The excitement was REAL!!! But there was still one final mystery to solve…

WHERE ON EARTH WERE WE GOING?! 🌍

After months of secret planning, hidden suitcases, mystery letters and trying desperately not to slip up, it was finally time for the BIG reveal…

GRENADAAAAA HERE WE COME!!! 🇬🇩🌴☀️

Their very first international adventure, and they get to experience it with their cousins! 🥹❤️

As parents, there is something so special about being able to create these moments for our children. The excitement, the laughter, the memories and the joy of experiencing something new together. These are the moments we pray they will remember for years to come. ❤️

@isaactendo Mission officially accomplished!!!

Tell me, would you plan a secret trip for your kids?? by @jadetendo

Part Two: The Secret Mission CONTINUES! 👀 ✈️🤫

After waking up to their first secret letter, the boys were given their next mission: leave the house quietly, and get into the waiting car 🚕🤫

At this point, they still had NO idea what was going on! But once we were on the move, it was time for Mission 3… and this is where things got interesting! 👀

SURPRISE!!! YOU’RE GOING ON HOLIDAY! ✈️🌍😭

This was a BIG moment for them! 🥹❤️

After many prayers, questions, guesses, and excitement… 😂 It was everything we’d hoped for and more!

And the funniest part? They still had NO idea where we were going! 🤭

But little did the boys know… the surprises were not over! 👀

Because waiting at the airport was something they NEVER saw coming! 🤫❤️ by @jadetendo

WE ACTUALLY PULLED IT OFF!! 😭😂✈️🌴🤫

Keeping this secret was SO hard. It nearly came out of the bag more than once during those final few weeks, but somehow… we made it!

The boys woke up that morning thinking it was just a very early start… only to find their first mystery letter waiting for them. 👀💌

What they didn’t know was that they were about to:

✈️ Get on a plane for the very first time
🌍 Travel across the world for the very first time
🌴 Fly ALL the way to the Caribbean
🤭 And discover that this was only the beginning of the surprises we had planned…

Watching them read that first letter and slowly realise that something BIG was happening was everything. 🥹

Let’s just say… it was an exciting morning all round!

@isaactendo… WE DID IT!!! 😂🙌🏾!

The boys still had one very important question…
WHERE ARE WE GOING?! 👀✈️

Part 2 coming next… 🤭 by @jadetendo

Keep dating each other.

I’m discovering that marriage is a call to mutual fulfilment. Learning what brings each other joy—and making time for it.

Prioritise fun.
Keep having firsts together.
Break the routine.

This salsa class had us both outside our comfort zones, but it’s a memory I’ll treasure.

There’s still more of us to discover. by @jadetendo

Whoever said parenting was easy… hand me the textbook you’re reading from. 😬😬

Four children.
Four completely different stages.
Four different needs.
And a whole lot of grace required.

Motherhood has taught me that you can love your children deeply and still have moments where you feel tired, stretched, unregulated and unsure — and also like you got it completely wrong.

But I’m also learning over and over that God is so gracious in the way He guides us.

Sometimes the wisdom comes before the moment.
Sometimes it comes in the middle of it.
And sometimes it comes afterwards, when you look back and realise He was teaching you too.

He corrects without condemning.
He gives wisdom when you ask.
He meets you in the moments where you feel like you don’t have enough, where you feel like you made a mistake and even when you have no clue how to move forward.

Maybe that’s part of the beauty of motherhood—
we are raising our children, but God is still raising something in us too.

My reminder to you: He gives Grace for them.
But he also gives Grace for you too. 🤍 by @jadetendo

Sometimes the deepest wound isn’t what happened to you. It’s what you came to believe about yourself because of it.

The experience may have ended years ago, but its impact can quietly follow you into places you never expected.

Into your relationships.
Into your marriage.
Into how you respond to conflict.
Into your ability to trust, receive love and feel safe.

You may have moved on physically, but emotionally, parts of you may still be responding from the place where you were wounded.

This is why healing requires more than simply moving forward. It requires us to become curious about what stayed.

The beliefs we formed.
The fears we normalised.
The coping mechanisms that once protected us but may now be limiting us.

One thing I’ve learnt through my own healing journey is that you can leave an environment and still carry the emotional imprint of what happened there.

But what was learnt in survival can be gently unlearnt in healing.

And with God, we can begin to rewrite the narratives we’ve lived by for years. 🤎

A reflection from my book, Nursing the Wound.

Let me ask you: Have you ever realised that something you thought was part of your personality was actually a response to something you experienced?

Let’s talk in the comments. 🤎 by @jadetendo

Maybe you’re not failing.
Maybe you’ve been carrying more than you realised.

Maybe exhaustion has started to feel normal.
Maybe being “the strong one” has made receiving support uncomfortable.

Maybe motherhood has taken up so much space that you’re struggling to recognise the woman underneath it.

That doesn’t make you ungrateful.
It makes you human.

Sometimes growth starts with a different question:
What have I been calling normal that is actually costing me?

Remind yourself today;
You are allowed to be a mother and still be a woman God is forming, restoring and speaking to.🤍 by @jadetendo

I’m a woman backed by Heaven.
And I intend to walk like it. 🔥

Never get it confused… we look cute, but we’re also ready to cast out demons. ‼️🔥

Ladies, there’s a different spring in your step when you know whose you are.

You don’t walk around like you have something to prove.

It’s a different kind of confidence—the kind that comes from firmly knowing that the same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead lives in you.

So stop shrinking.

Your destiny is too great for you to still be questioning whether you belong.

Remember who sent you.
Remember what you carry.

And for those who have ever whispered…

“Who does she think she is?”

You don’t even have to answer.
Let your light announce you.

You are a woman called by God.
Filled with His Spirit.
Backed by Heaven. 🔥 by @jadetendo
