If you've followed my account for long enough, you know exactly why I love episode 4 of Just Beyond. For those who haven't followed long enough, it's not just because it has Megan in it (that fact did draw my interest in the show though). I have anxiety, which is amplified because of my autism, so seeing Megan portray anxiety so perfectly through Olivia was honest to freaking God magical to me and very relatable (minus the creepy ghost man with the smart suit and mask following her). So naturally, I was gonna make an edit for Olivia similar to the way Izzy got one because she's amazing and Megan is also amazing, her performance is amazing and I love it. Also, I probably won't do another edit until Aftermath comes out (and I so hope Megan gets to throw punches for at least 5 minutes overall so I can use the song I really want to for an edit) ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ @itsmeganstott by @jadeystotts

I know that I should save this until Friday BUT I didn't want to wait to share this new edit for you all. This edit is focused on Izzy from Little Fires Everywhere who is the best character in the show (I will fucking fight you guys if you disagree) and also a badass character played by a badass actress and this edit includes a badass song because it's fitting. I should point out something: I'm aware this edit ain't perfect, in fact some might say it's very shit. That's because I don't edit often enough. Also, I know that some might want a Lexie edit: that's not happening, I technically did an edit of Jade herself a while ago so fuck it, Lexie appears in this edit anyway, let Megan have her turn because I put in the effort to make something showing my appreciation and love for something Megan put lots of effort into OK? ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Well.... haven't done one of these posts in a while, have I? So today on October 5th 2026, Deadline, the news site revolving around TV and films that tends to be the first place with new updates, released an article about a TV adaptation for the book 'Things We Never Got Over' that is currently being produced by Amazon MGM Studios, presumably for Amazon Prime Video to be its home. As you can see, the article is about 6 actors joining the cast and Megan is one of them, although I do recognise Sarah Jeffrey from Descendants 1 and 3. Naturally, my attention was immediately caught by virtue of Megan being in this project and first of all, this is the second time Megan has been in a show that adapts a book, the first one being Little Fires Everywhere of course. As for who Megan is playing, her character is Waylay (please don't ask me how to pronounce it, I've been trying to figure it out myself and I'm stumped) and she is the 11-year-old niece of the main character, Naomi, who seems to be wise beyond her years, at least I think that's what it means by "11 going on thirty" in the blurb of the book. Now obviously, Megan is not 11 years old, she's 23 years old and just a couple of months younger than myself so I'm assuming that Waylay is gonna be older in the show than in the book, maybe around 18, possibly 16 at the lowest. Of course, if they are maintaining the original age of Waylay in the show, I'll be shocked because that would mean someone on the team thinks that Megan is very baby faced and is agreeing with my ex girlfriend and I don't know how to feel about that. Anyway, my guess is that this should come out Late 2027 or Early 2028 as this is still in pre-production stages and I am looking forward to seeing what this project looks like in the future. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️@itsmeganstott

Also I should point out that this isn't me coming back to being a fanpage full time, I'm literally just gonna pop in whenever a new project gets announced or a new trailer drops or anything releases and I can watch it just so I can give my thoughts on it. Hence my Semi-Retired status

Also also, I wonder if they'll get Sarah to sing in this one. Queen of Mean from Descendants 3 was actu by @jadeystotts

I think this is the last Mario Party I have left to talk about. Mario Party 7, the last of the Gamecube quadrilogy, released in 2006 and has a globetrotting theme this time. Mario and friends are invited onto a cruise by Toadsworth (who would go missing and presumably die years later)... but Bowser is mad because he wasn't invited (gee I wonder why?) and now he plans to ruin their adventure. Each of the boards this time around are themed around different locations around the world with different gimmicks for each board, like stealing stars from other players or trying to find a star in one of 3 chests. And then Bowser will come in every so often to try and ruin everything during the board.... and yeah that's it. Look, this is the 7th game of this series, the 4th one on the Gamecube, the previous one was already peak and this would be the 3rd to last Mario Party made by the original developer before the massive shift in Mario Party 9. This is just a very safe Mario Party game. Still fun, not it's gonna impress you at this point is it? by @jadeystotts

So... Metroid Prime 4 was a game wasn't it? So after 18 years since Metroid Prime 3 released, we finally saw the release of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond in 2025 for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, with the option to upgrade to the Switch 2 version for a small fee if you bought the Switch version before buying a Switch 2. Following a string of attacks on various research stations, Samus lands just time as another station is attacked, which contains a mysterious artifact which is activated after a confrontation with Sylux, another hunter that was in the DS game. Afterwards, Samus finds herself on the planet Viewros and finds a purple gem that provides psychic powers as well as a recorded message from a long extinct species known as the Lamorn that asks for the "Chosen One" to find 5 keys hidden throughout Viewros as well as a Memory Fruit and use a massive teleporter to find another world to plant the fruit, thus preserving their legacy. And from there, it's the standard Metroid Prime gameplay though a lot more closer to the 3rd game in terms of structure, not that it's an issue. The main issue of this game is onr of its selling points, a bike called Vi-O-La which is mainly used to traverse a massive barren desert that is meant to feel like an open world but it's nowhere near as good. Ultimately though, I do still think that it's a good time but the desert stuff might put you off by @jadeystotts

Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for the Wii U. Wow.... this one is kinda pathetic. OK so you know how the previous games offered a ton of minigames that made you feel like you were playing different events. Well no, the selection here is a pitiful 17 minigames on offer, the least of the entire series at this point. Not to mention, 3 of the minigames are just enhanced versions of other minigames. As well as this, the character roster has been been updated finally.... but that's because every event has 1 guest character that you can select for that specific event. So why not just include them in every event. The 3DS games also limited your roster for certain events as well but at least there's an excuse because it's on a handheld. The Wii U is way more powerful than the 3DS and the Wii yet this game has less content than those games. Even the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic game had more content. But then again, the Wii U was on its way out when this game came out, with Paper Mario Colour Splash bring that console's swan song... but that's a story for another day. Today is when I'm telling you not to bother with this game, play the 3DS version if you have to play one of these games based on Rio 2016, or just don't bother with Rio 2016 and play London 2012 on the Wii. That was the best one by @jadeystotts

Hey guys, it's me, Jadeystotts (or John as some of you guys know me) and since February of 2022, I've been occupying the Instagram space as a fanpage, first only dedicated to Jade Pettyjohn but soon after also dedicating the page to Megan Stott and I've enjoyed the time I've spent here, made some friends that have made my heart feel whole, made some fun quips in captions and (hopefully) brought some positive energy to the platform. However, I've always done this for the sake of just spreading love for these 2 wonderful actors and not to only be chasing likes and notices and for the past few months, I feel like I've only kept posting for the sake of getting likes which feels wrong to me and I don't want to keep going down that path. So, for the foreseeable future, I'm going into what I call semi-retirement. Basically what this means is that I'm not gonna be actively posting about Jade or Megan as soon as they post something new for the sake of it. Instead I'm mostly gonna be posting stuff that I want to post, whether is be quick reviews on different media, some funny moments I've had in my gaming time or just whatever I feel like posting about. This doesn't mean I'm never posting about Jade or Megan by the way and obviously I'll reshare their posts in stories but for now, I'm gonna post stuff for me. If you've been tagged in this post along with Jade and Megan, it's because you're a real one and I'm glad you're still here, should you choose to stay.
