I feel like I’m still dreaming …

I can’t believe I can officially say that I am a Pediatric ICU nurse! I can’t even put into words how much this means to me. To my mother, who immigrated to this country 🇰🇪 and worked tirelessly to ensure that earning a nursing degree from the #1 Public school in the United States was in my future — I am because you are. To my amazing family and friends who always encouraged me through my hours of studying and millions of assessments thank you so much <3 And to my future patients, I am so honored to care for you. I’m so humbled to support children and their families through their most vulnerable moments.

I can’t believe I have the privilege of spending the rest of my life helping others.

thank you, thank you , thank you :) by @jadyn.mwangi
