OWU: PROFILER-X
REFERENCE GRADE ARTIFACT

Jadyn Van Horn made a real statement at the Wooten 150.

The 5’10 Class of 2030 guard showed three-level scoring ability that translated against strong competition. She reached double figures in multiple games, posted a high of 18 during the experience, and showed she can create offense through pace, touch, confidence and shot-making versatility.

The scoring package matters because it was not built on one action. Van Horn showed comfort attacking space, creating separation, finding rhythm in the midrange and converting when defenders had to respect her downhill pressure. That kind of offensive variety gives her a stronger long-term projection than a player who only scores in one lane.

The separation, though, was not only offensive.

Van Horn also showed defensive chops. She competed, absorbed the physical and athletic test, and held her own against multiple Top 50 and Top 25 players in her class. That response matters. The setting gave her a real evaluation environment, and she answered with production, competitiveness and presence.

By the end of the Wooten 150, Van Horn had positioned herself as one of the exceptional players in the gym and a clear 2030 prospect to keep tracking. taken in California by @jadynn_6

OWU: STRATEGY AND ANALYTICS
PROFILER X
REFERENCE GRADE ARTIFACT

JADYN VAN HORN
CLASS OF 2030 | 5’10” GUARD
CORONA CENTENNIAL HIGH SCHOOL
WEST COAST REGION

2030 ELITE THREE-LEVEL SCORER | OFFENSIVE ENGINE

Jadyn Van Horn enters the Profiler X evaluation lens as a high-priority 2030 guard whose value begins with her capacity to function as an offensive engine.

At 5’10”, Van Horn brings functional positional size to a guard profile built around creation. The central evaluation question is larger than scoring volume: Can she consistently create advantages, manipulate defensive coverage, generate efficient offense at all three levels, and convert pressure into opportunities for teammates?

The three-level scoring profile matters because it expands the defensive decisions required to contain her. Rim pressure forces help. Pull-up capability creates solutions when defenders retreat. Perimeter shooting extends the possession and creates gravity away from the ball. When those elements operate together, the result is not simply a scorer—it is a potential offensive organizer.

Corona Centennial provides an important developmental environment for testing those traits against elevated competition. For a 2030 prospect, however, projection remains developmental rather than final. Profiler X will continue tracking efficiency under increased usage, processing against pressure, passing reads, turnover control, defensive impact, and the repeatability of her creation across stronger competitive samples.

The objective is not to validate a ranking.

The objective is to determine whether the underlying basketball translates.

OWU studies the player, the environment, the role, and the trajectory.

OWU: TALENT PROJECTION
ELITE 2030 — REFERENCE GRADE ARTIFACT

Elite is not a label.

Elite is a pattern of evidence.

Jadyn Van Horn represents the type of early projection that requires more than age-group dominance. The signal becomes meaningful when multiple indicators begin converging across age, competition level, role, production and long-term upside.

Van Horn is a 5’10” guard competing with Why Not Premier 16U on the Nike Girls EYBL circuit while still carrying a 2030 classification. That age-to-level relationship is the first signal.

The second is responsibility.

Across the referenced 16-game sample, Van Horn produced 12.9 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 2.3 APG and 1.5 SPG while generating 13.6 field-goal attempts per game. The larger evaluation point is not simply the scoring average. It is the offensive responsibility being absorbed against older competition.

That creates projection density.

Size + age advantage + elevated competition + possession responsibility + production.

Each variable matters independently. Their convergence matters more.

For a 2030 prospect, the objective is not to declare the finished player. It is to identify whether current evidence is appearing ahead of the normal developmental timeline.

Van Horn is producing those signals.
