almost forgot my September dump I’m so excited about October Nothing really happened and that was the goal for this month. I wasn’t bothered, I worked, read my Bible, went to the gym, and chose peace. That’s literally my life now and I thank God for it. Healing is starting to feel like reality. I was intentionally quiet and peaceful in September and it’s paying off. October is all about meeee🥳🥳🥳 (I only used this sound for the beginning🤣) by @jae.jamese

I’ve been an AKA for 6 years now and this year I decided to come back home and join the chapter my mother and grandmother chartered- Chi Mu Omega. Today, I was honored as “homecoming queen” . This meant so much to me and my grandmother was so heavy in my spirit. Ready to work 💚🩷💚🩷 by @jae.jamese
month two of healing 🫶🏽 this month for me was about intention. intentionally dating myself, intentionally being in the moment, intentionally being me more time writing, more time outside , more time perfecting my career down a total of 80 pounds and OF COURSE you won’t be healing if somebody tried to throw you off right? weird. didn’t let it though 🫶🏽 August was great. It’s football season. September be amazing. My birthday is almost here. 🫶🏽🫶🏽 by @jae.jamese
july dump (I’ll be working the rest of the month 💀) I’ve been open and transparent with my friends about my healing journey. wanting to touch the ground a little more and not necessarily letting the pressure of healing control my life. so I did somethings this month that have made me feel easier. writing again, spending time with the people who matter and really do love me, spending time with myself, taking a trip to settle me, celebrate my people, started jobs closer to home 🥹🫶🏽, and most of all pray to God daily I just win the day. there were some moments when it was shaky and my nervous system was tested but TGBTG , it didn’t last long. July was a good month overall. And I feel me winning my peace more and more each day. Month 1 of healing complete 🫶🏽 August I’m ready for you🥹 by @jae.jamese

I remember I was driving to school one day and looked up at a billboard and saw STEM MBA. I said hmmmm…I wonder what’s that about? I did some research, saw the program was offered at @alcornstateu and applied during the last semester of nursing school. The day I got accepted into the program, I got a call from my advisor saying “you’re still in nursing school. You finish in December. Why start a masters program in January? You don’t want a break from school?” I said “why would I give myself a break from achieving my success?” He said “I LOVE IT! Let’s get you enrolled!” Well, I was Brave Enough and Mastered It! But don’t get it twisted. Tiger Born, Tiger Bred. And when I die…y’all know the rest 💙🤭 #SWACX2 #HBCUGradX2 by @jae.jamese
