I'm an actress and model infront of the camera. But behind the lens, working as an Engagement Officer, supporting young people across primary and secondary education, while also facilitating creative wellbeing, employability workshops for adults in mental health facilities.

What a way to close out another incredible Live Season of Artz & Vybz!!💥

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Interactive Creative Arts Festival such a special day at the Legacy Centre of Excellence — our sponsors, vendors, performers, workshop facilitators, business owners, resident chefs from The Melanation, our amazing audience, and everyone who supported in front of and behind the scenes.

I recently had the opportunity to Speak on a panel at the @creativebusinessexpo - “From Idea to Audience: Building Successful Live Events.”
Alongside Sammy @realdealcomedyjam and @renee.cd , hosted by @sacharjones — it was such a valuable and honest conversation to be part of.

What I loved most is that although we all run different events, we were aligned on so much on what we said.
We spoke about turning ideas into real experiences, what makes events stand out, the reality of challenges and the importance of community / audiences.

We agreed:
Purpose matters — know your “why”
Consistency builds trust
Community is what keeps people coming back
And people will always remember how you made them feel

It comes down to this:
💫 Lead with audacity & purpose. Start your idea before you’re ready. Stay rooted in your purpose and stay consist.

In this industry, you have to stay adaptable, open to feedback, and willing to grow — because every experience shapes the next.
