To my Illustrious Savannah State University,
This campus I love oh so much — thank you. I will forever be grateful for everything this school has shown and taught me. From the meaningful connections to the unforgettable lessons, SSU has helped shape the woman I am today, and I wouldn’t trade this journey for the world.
This is for the young girl who left home in North Carolina, unsure of what this new chapter held… thinking this place might be unserious, not realizing it would change her life. This is for the young girl who felt lost in the chaos, alone in the crowd — …who then found God, followed His light, and became a light for others. I’ve poured joy, love, and passion into this campus, and it’s poured back into me tenfold.
To graduate in just 3 years, freshly 21, is the biggest blessing — and a bittersweet one. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t scared. Scared I’m leaving too soon. Scared of what I might miss. Wondering what staying one more year could’ve offered. But the greatest lesson SSU has taught me is this: Let go and let God.
He’s already proven what He can do.

This isn’t the end — it’s just the start of my next chapter.

“I cannot waste no time, yeah I’m really Timeless.”

Closing this chapter feels surreal. Timeless gave me confidence, creativity, and a deeper understanding of who I am as a woman and a leader.
To my e-board and my babies — thank you for letting me pour into this org with my whole heart. You helped shape this journey just as much as the title did.
And a special shoutout to Donnavan @d.onnh — your creative direction for this shoot deserves its own spotlight. A true Timeless member, you were the visionary behind every detail. None of this would’ve been possible without you. Thank you for bringing my ideas to life with care, intention, and brilliance.

Black. Brilliant. Becoming.

Being a Biology major taught me how to survive off all-nighters, push through labs and reports, and break down the systems of life one chapter at a time — all while managing to keep it together. Precision, patience, and perseverance.

After 3 unforgettable years, I gotta give the biggest thank you to my support system — my family, friends, and mentors. Y’all held me down through the chaos, the cries, and the cramming. This journey is not for the weak.

Special shoutout to The National Society of Black Women in Medicine and NCNW for pouring into me and giving me the space to grow, lead, and feel seen as a Black woman in STEM.
