This was my mum's favorite picture of herself. It was taken just a couple months after my parents got married, 49 years ago. They were happy, in love, on a road trip to Seattle to visit friends.

My mom left this world early Sunday morning. She was gently sleeping, peaceful. I am eternally grateful that I was able to help keep her comfortable these last three months during her transition. Thank you to everyone who reached out to myself and our family to give comfort and support so we could focus on caring for her. by @jaestarcat

SOMEONE broke into my housemate's office, opened the dog kibble, and ate his fill. I have them on a raw food diet, so this is the first time since he was a kitten that he has had the opportunity to completely fill his stomach with carbohydrates. He's understandably confused and sleepy. Whether he will vomit remains to be seen. I wish he understood the concept of "consequences of his actions." by @jaestarcat
