SEE YA SYDNEY🇦🇺❤️

It was in September 2019 that I arrived in Sydney with two suitcases, lots of excitement, and the dream of having an Australian adventure. I never could have imagined just how much this place would come to mean to me.

Sydney gave me unforgettable memories: surviving COVID, exploring new places, growing personally and professionally, building a home, and raising two beautiful cats. Most importantly, I shared some of the best moments of my life here with someone very special.

Leaving comes with a lot of mixed emotions. There is heartbreak in saying goodbye — to friends who became family, to a home full of memories, to my cats, and to a chapter that shaped me in so many ways.

But above all, I feel grateful. Grateful for the experiences, the people, and the life I built here.

Now it’s time for a new chapter. I’m heading back to the Netherlands, to be closer to family and with Europe as my playground and where new adventures are waiting.

Goodbyes are never easy, but I’m choosing to look forward and upwards. Here’s to the next chapter 📖 taken in Sydney Airport - International Terminal by @jagermeester
