🚨 This is one of the most draining habits, and it perpetuates self-abandonment.
“He MADE me so mad! I can’t believe he said that!!!” 🤬😡😤
instead of fuming all day…

Interrupt the impulse to react, then you can make a different choice.
If I can do this as an ADHD person, you can do it too lol. But it takes practice, time, and letting go of perfection.

😮‍💨 take a moment for yourself, breathe, and decide on how you’d like to proceed.

Is this something you really need to care about?
Is it worth spending time or energy on?
Is it a you problem or a him problem?
Does it need to be addressed or ignored?
Is it something that can change or be solved?

You could:
1. Separate and identify your own emotions, and move on with your day

2. Tell him to check his attitude

3. Ignore then leave to go frolic in a field

4. Set a boundary = clarify how you’ll be spoken to otherwise you won’t engage

5. Breathe for a minute and when you BOTH feel calm and ready, talk about it so you both feel better

6. Decide it really is a problem and you want to stand up a fight for what’s right!

It doesn’t matter what you decide, the point is that YOU DECIDE

*practicing* that moment of interruption before reacting is key

Anything you can do to interrupt the reaction gives you time to decide what YOU want to do instead of sending you into a tailspin of escalation.

Of course like anything this is simple yet incredibly nuanced.

✨ the next time you find yourself mysteriously clumsy in the kitchen, check if there’s a spirit that wants to have dinner with you 😋

Sometimes when my guides want to make their presence known and celebrate with me, I notice that ingredients will fall on the floor while I’m cooking until I acknowledge them and let them know I’ll make a plate for them too!

This meal is my new fave obsession (I literally made it two nights in a row because it’s so tasty) 🤤 so ofc my guides wanted to try some too - and they LOVED it.

Afterwards our connection felt glowing, nourished, and clear 😘

Personal offerings are more potent because they come from the heart, they’re filled with extra love.
Give your favorite things!
💞 This strengthens your bond, facilitates clearer communication, and is important reciprocity.

🕷️A message from Grandmother Spider Spirit that came through during a Spotlight session with a beloved client 🐆

What does “let go of resistance” actually mean? and why?

Grandmother spider is a weaver.
She helps you create your dreams and projects, but it’s a co-creation.

If your threads are wound too tightly
(hiding, staying quiet, not being yourself, hoarding your talents and inspiration, scarcity, feeling not good enough)
then they are full of tension, hard to weave with, because they will break.

You won’t be satisfied.
Your work will always feel unfinished.
You’ll burn out.

You’ve tried a lot of things…
You ask for what you want,
you “manifest” but at the same time you feel like you have to control everything, execute the perfect delicate formula, play every part, it always feels like a “you” problem…

It creates a pendulum swing of real results, then snapping, and starting over

This is a collective wound of individualism, from oppressive systems that have disconnected you, us, from the community mindset that is true nature.

You belong to more than one world, you’re not meant to fit in, you’re meant to lead.
You’re meant to express your uniqueness with confidence.
You do your work for more than just yourself: for thousands that came before you and that will come after you. You know you’re not alone, and you don’t want to do it alone anymore.
That imposter syndrome you feel isn’t because you’re not enough, it’s because you can do so much MORE. It’s a taste of the possibilities that are in store for you. It awakens a fire in you.
You’re not here to feel worse than a mediocre white man.

You need to harness that fire with precision, balance, and embrace your full capability, take it even further.

Sensitive soul: You’ve shown yourself before, you’ve been authentic and raw, but then you were told that you are “too much” and you were left behind by people you thought really cared about you.
It hurts. It’s shocking. You feel misunderstood, and misread. Maybe you were the one who misunderstood?
You keep trying, keep learning more, keep reaching out, you find a place that feels safe to let loose, but then it happens again.
Ouch. It hits you hard. They don’t like you. You don’t want to be anyone but yourself, but you also feel alone, so you learn to hold back a little. You start to agree with them, being you really is a lot.

It works, you connect, you make friends. But you still feel lonely. It’s not enough. You’re not enough.
How can you be “too much” and “not enough” is this Goldilocks? Are you supposed to be in the middle? How do you find what’s “just right” You don’t fit in anywhere.

You express yourself, but only edited. You have strong opinions but you keep them mostly private. You are careful with your words because you don’t want to hurt others. You’ve are cautious with your relationships because you don’t want to overwhelm them.
But a fire burns in you, a rage.
Things start to ignite you.
You want to scream.

You go back to the things that you loved from the start. To who you’ve always been. You start to do little things that make you feel more like you. And then others start to find you too. You embrace imperfection, nuance, and duality. You realize you’re not alone, that they feel it too. You have your own unique point of view! You art, your mind, the way you see things.

You start to listen to your extraordinary senses, to find the wisdom of what you’re receiving. You learn how to navigate the shadows and see the truth. That we all have pain, and you can use it as fuel.

I’ve been dwelling in the shadows, stealth mode, Jaguar vision piercing the night.
Navigating the dark and the light. I trust myself and my abilities, they keep me safe and at peace.

The more intense it is, the more energized I am for the fight.
The more it feeds me. The more satisfying. I get to use more of my abilities. Stretch, run full speed, bite with all my might, pierce through the unbreakable.

Making silent moves, sure-footed, taking out demons before they know what hit them.

I’m seen when I show myself.
I’m sure of who I am.
My strength exists whether it’s perceived or not.
I am not at the liberty of others’ projections.
I don’t have to do anything, I’m always protected.
I leap, knowing I’ll land and I’ll make my mark.
My balance never fails me.
I’m fully calibrated for everything my heart desires.
I move instinctually.
Every experience and lesson reveals more of me.

It’s time for you to stop holding back, and start wield the unlimited power kept in your heart.
