Honored to spend time at the Alibaba campus and be part of the launch of “妙呀”, an ai platform that reminds me every technological leap begins with a simple act of imagination. As someone who has spent decades moving between graffiti, painting, toys and now AI, I’ve never seen technology as the opposite of art, but as another brush waiting to be picked up. We are standing at the threshold of a new creative revolution where ideas can travel faster than ever before, yet it is still human curiosity, culture and storytelling that give them meaning. Grateful for the opportunity to contribute in a small way, and excited to see what this new generation of creators will build together. This painting predates the entire Postcards from Space series, a quiet genesis before the transmissions began. Two travelers sit at the edge of paradise, suspended somewhere between Eden and the cosmos. An apple, a smile, and the lingering realization that even in the furthest reaches of the future, humanity still aches for love, wonder, and meaning.
The astronauts are not conquerors of space, but fragile dreamers carrying the oldest human myths into tomorrow. by @jahan_

A decade ago, I began “Genesis: Gods Terrarium”, a series that explored questions about the origins of humanity and whether the architecture of life might point to a higher intelligence shaping existence. Ten years later, I find myself returning to this idea through my Postcards from Space narrative. In these works, the astronaut becomes a quiet custodian of miniature worlds, carrying fragile terrariums of life across the cosmos. It’s a poetic way of reflecting on our own existence, suggesting that what we call reality might itself be part of a much larger cosmic terrarium, tended by forces beyond our understanding. taken in Singapore / Singapura / 新加坡 / சிங்கப்பூர் by @jahan_
