I had the pleasure of speaking with Jonathan ( @channel_20xx )at @queencitynerve about my new album, Sacred Foe // Shallow Friend.

The next slide contains a clip from the song Blood Anthem I, quoted in the article (with a small typo 😛). I really appreciate them reaching out, and giving me their time. 🙏

Here are the correct lyrics:

I wish had the yearning to
Pick up when you call me
I just wanna press ignore
Or lock the doors when you come knocking
It’s not that I don’t love you
Or appreciate the sacrifices made
The past just left a bitter taste
And I, no, I can’t rid it
The many lies I visit
No matter how you spin it
I’m just tryna reassemble all the pieces left
And when I think I got ‘em all
I’m left a hole inside my chest by @jahphomet

LINK IN BIO // As I move on to a new chapter of my life, I leave behind Sacred Foe // Shallow Friend; a collection of songs/demos published over the last seven years. It includes a variety of mixes and producers, as well as two songs that were thought to be lost. This is the end of The Last Jah, but I will continue to push out new music under Jahphomet. Thank you to everyone for their support over the years. <3 by @jahphomet

Congratulations to my brother @jmeskay and my new sister-in-law @misswanderlustia :)) The wedding was so beautiful. It was amazing getting to see the entire family together for the first time in almost a decade. Thank you both for making that happen. I’m extremely happy for you two! <3

Here are most of the pictures @littlelunabean and I took during the trip. I wish I had taken some more of the family, but I tried to enjoy their presence more than anything. by @jahphomet

Omg, it’s #waybackwednesday with the boys

This song was called “Never.” It was a lot of fun to play, and we eventually wrote more for the intro, but this was one of the earlier versions. by @jahphomet
