My beautiful Mother, Estelita.

I will forever strive to be even half of the person that you were. Your soul loved so deeply, and I always found everything about you so admirable; your sweet and loving nature, your unmatched sense of humour, but most prominently, your unbelievable strength and resilience. Even throughout your long battle with cancer, you never stopped showing those beautiful qualities.

The greatest honour I could ever have in this life was being your son. Thank you for taking me in and treating me like your own. You not only gave me a loving family, but you raised me to see life as beautifully as you saw it. Though we may not share the same genetics, thank you for passing down your beautiful qualities and I will forever be in debt. It was an amazing privilege to have taken care of someone, who without a doubt, would have done the same for every person she knew.

I’m sorry I always threatened to run away when I couldn’t eat marshmallows for breakfast. I know you’re dancing in the heavens right now probably teaching the angels how to dougie. You are forever in the hearts of many, rest in peace and love ma.❤️ by @jahrellreyes
