I’m so fortunate I got to celebrate my built-in-bestie’s 35th bday with her this weekend 🖤👯‍♀️🖤 @stephdrayer I can’t tell you how happy I am we’ve become so close, both in friendship and proximity in the last few years. You’re an incredible sister, friend, environmental leader, mother, cook, sledder, renovator, hype girl, cat lover, playlist curator, and so much more 🙌

I couldn’t be more proud of the woman you’ve become, even though you’re somehow still 14 and I’m still 20 driving you around in my Tracker with the bass pumping!

Love you forever baby sister Boogerbutt 😘 taken in Norfolk County, Ontario by @jaimedrayer

Running at 40 compared to my 20s and early 30s = Running for strength and endurance and not to punish my body.

What’s changed?
+ medication induced and age related weight gain
- 1 eating disorder
+ 1 spine surgery
+ 1 ankle surgery
= 2 ankle plates + 10 ankle screws
+ 1 ankle brace
+ 1 chronic illness
+ 1 relocation to a rural area
+ 2 cataract surgeries
- many fucks
= content, thriving, and appreciating what I have!

I’ve been THROUGH it the last decade and now I’m trying to build some strength and enjoy nature while the world is burning. taken in Norfolk County, Ontario by @jaimedrayer
