a hidden easter egg in The Ballad of Falling Dragons that no one has picked up on yet? 👀📚

for reference… the line is: “Something silver glints in her right eye. A distant speck of light that part of me wants to reach for”

thank you @sarah.a.parker.author @frenzybooks and @hopelessromanticbooks for the most wonderful evening celebrating the release of The Ballad of Falling Dragons! 💕

my best and worst reads of the year so far! (per month) ⭐️📚

#bookstagram #bookrecs #bestreads #readingchallenge #booklover

reading through LOTR was SUCH a highlight!
and while this was my fav book of the Bridgerton batch, I just never ended up getting along with the writing style 😢

Pierce Brown puts me in so much emotional and physical pain… and I devour every second of it 😂

the month I fell in love with Lisa See!
(I think I’ve ranted about The Last Wish enough for a lifetime 😂)

a month of emotional reads! The Correspondent was actually incredible, worth all the hype.

I just wish The Night We Met dove deeper into the relationships between our trio of characters.

you simply cannot make me choose between these three top reads of May 😂

picking daisies on sundays wasn’t bad by any means, but just didn’t offer me anything new vs other romance books I’ve read!

another EMOTIONAL month! 😂 2 masterpieces for best june read that I also just cannot choose between.

the hollow gods was just too feral-dark-romance for my liking.

VE Schwab, you have DONE IT AGAIN! thank you for delivering this incredible conclusion to the story of our favourite villains 🥹🫶🏻

… and you’ll hear all about my pool house rant on the pod & in my long july wrap up! 😂 by @jaimefok
